SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Automation Associate to optimize and analyze marketing campaigns, enhancing fundraising, engagement, and awareness efforts for the type 1 diabetes community.
- Manage the end-to-end process of email campaigns, including drafting, segmenting, scheduling, and sending emails. Ensure all emails are aligned with marketing strategies, email best practices and brand guidelines.
- Work with the marketing team to segment audiences based on demographics, behavior, and engagement data to ensure emails are sent to the right recipients at the right time.
- Ensure email content is well-structured, engaging, and optimized for readability across all devices (desktop and mobile). Collaborate with the design team and relevant chapters to ensure the emails are visually appealing, grammatically correct, and aligned with the campaign’s objectives.
- Monitor and report on key email metrics (open rates, click-through rates, donations, etc.) and recommend data-driven adjustments to improve campaign performance.
- Develop engaging subject lines, preheaders, and calls to action (CTAs) that encourage recipients to open and act on emails.
- Stay updated on the latest email marketing trends, tools, and best practices to keep our email strategy fresh and effective.
- 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on marketing automation and campaign execution. Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) is preferred.
- Strong understanding of email marketing best practices, segmentation, and deliverability.
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to optimize campaigns.
- Experience with A/B testing and campaign performance optimization.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Copy editing abilities a plus
- Strong attention to detail in content creation, formatting, and list management. Ability to manage multiple campaigns while maintaining a high level of quality.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple email campaigns simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is maintained.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams with first in class customer service.
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS (optional but preferred).
