Job Overview:

ELECOM USA is seeking a highly motivated and creative Digital Marketing Coordinator to support the execution of the direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing strategy. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the DTC Marketing Manager to drive brand awareness, engagement, and sales through compelling content creation, social media management, and influencer partnerships. This junior level position offers significant growth opportunities as the company expands.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation & Social Media Management

  • Develop and curate creative copy for a variety of digital platforms including social media posts, Shopify product listings and pages, blog articles, and email newsletters that resonate with the ELECOM and NESTOUT audiences.
  • Create and schedule engaging multimedia content (text, images, videos) for social media channels, maintaining a consistent brand voice.
  • Assist in executing social media campaigns across platforms, leveraging trends, seasonal content, and audience insights.
  • Monitor and engage with audience feedback on social media, responding to customer queries and comments in a timely, professional manner.
  • Use social media scheduling tools to plan, organize, and track posts across platforms.

2. Customer Service Correspondence

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries on email, social media and digital platforms, responding promptly and professionally to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Kindly and professionally address customer concerns, product questions, and feedback via direct messages, comments, and emails, escalating issues to the appropriate teams as needed.
  • Work closely with the customer service team to ensure consistent messaging and high standards in customer interactions.
  • Maintain a customer-first approach while helping to resolve issues in a timely manner, contributing to customer satisfaction and retention.

3. Influencer & Brand Ambassador Collaboration

  • Work directly with influencers and brand ambassadors to co-create engaging content and promote ELECOM and NESTOUT products.
  • Assist in building and nurturing relationships with influencers, ensuring content aligns with brand values and marketing goals.
  • Track influencer campaign performance and report insights for continuous improvement.

4. Campaign Support & Analytics

  • Assist in managing and executing marketing campaigns, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess campaign effectiveness.
  • Use analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights) to monitor performance and adjust strategies to optimize engagement and ROI.
  • Report on social media performance and other marketing metrics to the DTC Marketing Manager, offering actionable insights for campaign optimization.

5. Community Building & Brand Awareness

  • Participate in digital events, product launches, and online campaigns to engage with customers and expand brand reach.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and social media best practices to ensure ELECOM stays ahead of the curve.
  • Assist in developing user-generated content (UGC) campaigns to enhance customer engagement.

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal teams, including the lead marketing manager, graphic designers, videographers, and product teams, to ensure alignment and consistency of brand messaging across all digital touchpoints.
  • Work closely with the e-commerce and design teams to ensure seamless integration of marketing initiatives with online sales strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in digital marketing or a related field, with a focus on social media management and content creation.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, another related field, or relevant work experience.
  • Skilled in Shopify, SEO basics, and email marketing platforms like Klaviyo or MailChimp.
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in content creation, social media campaigns, and reporting.
  • Experience managing customer inquiries and online community engagement.
  • Proven ability to manage social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, TikTok, LinkedIn, etc.) and create engaging content tailored to each platform.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling, on-brand content (captions, blog posts, product descriptions).
  • Experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Later) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights).
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, social media insights, and reporting on key metrics.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and social media trends to support content creation and audience engagement.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to reliably commute to our location in Irvine, CA 92612.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working with direct-to-consumer (DTC) brands or e-commerce platforms.
  • Strong understanding of influencer marketing and the ability to drive engagement through online campaigns.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to coordinate cross-functional efforts and deliver projects on time.
  • Experience with Asana or similar project management platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for outdoor, lifestyle, and tech products is a plus.
