The Digital Marketing Coordinator at Highmark Residential will support digital marketing operations, manage marketing systems, assist in property onboarding, and enhance online presence through various marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities Include:
  • Digital Marketing Support Overview
  • Positively and effectively manage, update, and maintain digital marketing support requests with a 24-48 hour turnaround, including troubleshooting online marketing functions with site personnel as needed
  • Help direct advanced-support requests to the appropriate party when a request is received through the central digital marketing support platform
  • Maintain accuracy in online presence through proactive monitoring and review (working alongside onsite and regional teams in this ongoing effort)
  • Support all Bot/widget/marketing code/marketing tool installations, researching if there are errors
  • Research any data loss through API or assorted integrations, working directly with providers and vendors as needed in order to repair the data or pricing feed discrepancies, working in partnership with corporate marketing leadership as necessary
  • Support marketing team, company promotions, and property marketing initiatives
  • Provide marketing program implementation and marketing team overflow assistance as needed
  • Work with other departments on company initiatives for marketing-specific support
  • Communicate marketing service interruptions to direct supervisors
  • Maintain positive working relationships with vendor and integration partners
  • Assist with Google Analytics and Google Products as directed by the Marketing Technology Manager
  • Support regional marketing administrative tasks as requested by Regional or Corporate Leadership
  • Provide support during national-level conferences, meetings and events as directed by the National VP of Training & Marketing
User Manager and Platform Maintenance
  • Responsible for setting up new users or communicating with the provider directly for setups on national marketing programs and initiatives.
  • Password resets for nationally required marketing platforms if required (i.e., Opiniion, J Turner, SOCi, Modern Message, Yelp etc.)
  • Manage user access per property regarding nationally required marketing platforms (I.e., Google Analytics)
  • iPad management and platform management
  • Approve J Turner reviews in accordance with Highmark standards
Core Marketing Operation Systems
In partnership with Corporate Marketing and Systems Managers, work with Property Management Software (PMS) and Resident Portal (RP) systems (i.e., Yardi RentCafe, CRM Platforms) to ensure success of integrations, ILS feeds, and be a general point person for these systems for specific marketing-related issues or needs. Marketing-related issues are defined as such:
  • Support pricing and updates to floor plan listings, working in partnership with Systems and Revenue Management teams (and other corporate departments) as necessary.
  • Setups of integration links and maintenance if errors are found
  • Basic functionality and updates of property websites if they are from the same PMS/RP
  • Corporate website integrations related to properties and external links
  • API functionality for new and existing vendors
  • Being sure property content (such as amenity lists) and brand collateral is up-to-date and deployed effectively
Property Website Support
  • Maintain changes to community websites as requested
  • Update and maintain alternative text and website readability
  • Manage routine website maintenance schedule
  • Manage and maintain 3rd party ticket systems
  • Process property requests for website changes including photo and copy updates
Acquisitions/Dispositions
  • Provide research assistance for property information and digital assets
  • Implement website templates and system settings for acquisitions
  • Coordinate collateral creation as needed - logo, floor plans, and sitemaps
  • Setting up new accounts for properties as part of a community transition or ongoing marketing efforts
  • Audit required programs (as referred to in the annual Marketing Budget Companion Guide or other documentation provided by the National VP of Marketing & Training) to ensure property compliance, and removing communities no longer managed
  • Assist with billing to ensure that properties billed are properties currently managed
  • Complete appropriate checklists and workflows for acquisitions and dispositions
Brand Consistency
  • Consistently audit Highmarkres.com for advertising integrity of assigned communities
  • Support Creative Director and brand team to provide consistency in marketing terms, materials, and website guidelines
  • Assist with developing and maintaining websites that are consumer-driven, dynamic, and provides a positive user experience
  • Coordinate collateral production as needed including floor plans, site maps, property logos, digital ads as requested
  • Maintain accurate database of digital content, i.e., photography, capx improvements
  • Work with identified internal resources on branding and promotional items
  • Assist with photo onboarding as requested
  • Assisted with assorted platform approvals (Canva, SOCi, collateral, etc.) as requested

Additionally, corporate marketing-related projects will be made available for further growth if the core functions of the job are fulfilled first unless designated by the Vice President of Marketing and Training.

Qualifications:
Qualifications:
  • Property Management System experience preferred (Rent Café, Yardi CRM Queue, Yardi Voyager, Yieldstar, Knock Rentals)
  • Multifamily experience preferred
  • Strong internet, mobile, and social media aptitude
  • Working knowledge of online reputation management and social media
  • Working knowledge of social media in business including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, YouTube
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and all Microsoft Office Programs
  • Above average knowledge of Excel
  • Working knowledge of Google platform including Google Analytics, AdWords and Business
  • Excellent grammatical skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and process complex information quickly
  • Intuitive and natural problem solver
  • Ability to prioritize, organize, time manage, balance competing deadlines, and be a self-starter that is eager to learn with a team player mentality
