Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related discipline, 3 years of digital marketing and social media experience, 2 years of experience in promotional events, strong writing skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to promote SakéOne through online channels, working closely with sales and the tasting room to develop engagement strategies and increase product awareness.
SakéOne is a premium craft saké producer and importer based in Forest Grove, Oregon with a marketing office located in Beaverton. It produces Oregon craft saké under the Momokawa, Moonstone, Naginata, Yomi and G brands; and imports fine Japanese saké under the Hakutsuru, Murai Family, Kasumi Tsuru, Kibo, Yoshinogawa, SakeMoto, Daikoku Masamune and Yuki Tora brands. Its products are distributed throughout key markets in North America, South America, and the Caribbean Islands.
Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will develop and execute strategies to promote SakéOne through online channels in close partnership with Sales (wholesale channels) and the Tasting Room (DTC).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Social Media Marketing: Create and schedule engaging content for our social media channels to build brand awareness and community engagement.
- Influencer Marketing: Identify and work with influencers to reach new audiences and inspire consumers.
- Partnership Marketing: Collaborate with brand-adjacent organizations to share content that presents saké in a unique and unexpected way.
- Content Marketing: Develop and publish quality content (blog posts, articles, videos, photos) to attract and retain relevant audiences.
- Email Marketing: Design and send targeted email campaigns to engage subscribers and promote products.
- Website Coordination: Work with web developers to maintain and update website content and functionality.
- PPC (Pay Per Click): Coordinate paid search campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads to generate targeted traffic, as well as shopper marketing platforms such as Instacart.
- Marketing Analytics: Track and analyze website traffic, social media metrics, and open and click-through rates across digital platforms and programs.
- SEO (Search Engine Optimization): Optimize website content to rank higher in search engine result pages.
- Keep up to date with digital marketing trends, especially in the alcohol and craft industries.
- Help represent SakéOne at trade and consumer events to increase brand and product awareness.
- Provide support for any other marketing, DTC and Sales initiatives.
- Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to, acting as a company/brand/sake ambassador at outside events.
- Evening and weekend availability required.
Required Skills:
- Digital Marketing Expertise: Strong understanding of key digital marketing concepts, tools and best practices.
- Analytical Details: Ability to interpret data, analyze campaign performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Content Creation: Excellent writing, editing and proofreading skills, with a strong attention to detail, to create content for various digital platforms. Ability to create visually engaging photographic and video content.
- Social Media Proficiency: Familiarity with major social media platforms and their marketing capabilities.
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of web analytics platforms and project management tools, and experience using social media management platforms and email marketing applications.
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Bachelor’s degree in a marketing, communications or related discipline is required.
- Minimum 3 years of social media (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and digital marketing experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working promotional events.
- Strong writing skills and proofreading skills required.
- Knowledge of saké or strong desire to acquire saké knowledge and appreciation.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills with the ability to create compelling, easy to understand, visually appealing presentations. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Acrobat, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator) desirable.
- Experience working with and across multiple outside vendors/agencies.
- Strong communication skills, with an ability to articulate effectively both verbally and in written form.
- Exceptional creativity and problem-solving skills.
- Must manage time and prioritize tasks while being highly self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Participate in company brainstorm and planning sessions and take an active role in the Marketing department.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a reliable source of transportation.
- Must have a valid OLCC Permit card or ability to acquire within 30 days of hire.
