Seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to drive content generation, SEO initiatives, and social media strategies to contribute to LoadUp's annual growth.

SUMMARY

The Digital Marketing Manager will be at the hub of LoadUp’s content generation efforts and will make a direct contribution to our yearly growth. You will be in charge of our SEO location pages and will be responsible for content automation and editing, page automation, template design, and page submission/ indexing. This role will have a heavy focus on content writing, HTML template design, and execution.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Digital Strategy and Leadership

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic digital marketing strategy, focusing on SEO and Social Media.
  • Lead a team of a full-time SEO specialist, a full-time Social Media Specialist, and a part-time SEO contributor, providing mentorship and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with product, content, and development teams to align digital strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to emerging industry trends and best practices, ensuring the team remains competitive.

    Technical SEO Oversight
  • Lead the technical SEO strategy to optimize site architecture, on-page elements, and structured data.
  • Conduct regular technical audits and work with the web development team to resolve issues related to site speed, Core Web Vitals, and indexing.
  • Implement advanced keyword strategies and content optimization techniques to improve organic rankings and traffic.
  • Utilize tools such as Google Search Console, SEMrush, and Ahrefs to monitor performance and identify growth opportunities.

    Content Strategy and Copywriting
  • Oversee the development of high-quality, SEO-optimized content across web pages, blogs, and landing pages.
  • Set content guidelines and collaborate with the content team to ensure consistency in brand voice and SEO alignment.
  • Ensure all copy is crafted for both engagement and search optimization, driving user engagement and conversion.

    Social Media Leadership
  • Lead the strategic direction of all organic social media efforts, guiding the Social Media team in content planning, community engagement, and brand storytelling.
  • Monitor social media analytics to assess performance, make data-driven adjustments, and identify areas for growth.
  • Stay updated on the latest platform updates and social trends to maximize engagement and visibility.

    Performance Analysis and Reporting
  • Be accountable for meeting and exceeding established KPIs for organic search performance, engagement, and brand visibility.
  • Provide regular performance reports to senior leadership, using insights from analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Meta Insights).
  • Conduct ongoing competitive analysis and testing to drive continuous improvement in SEO and social media strategies.
  • Establish a culture of data-driven decision-making and iterative optimization across the digital marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Content writing experience (5-7 years)
  • HTML experience (5-7 years)
  • CSS experience (5-7 years)
  • SEO familiarity
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A deep understanding of content impact on the customer experience
  • Creative design skills for creating diverse templates and images
  • The ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously, perform in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of detail and accuracy
