Hunter Communications is looking for an ambitious and experienced Digital Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of our marketing strategy. You will assist the Vice President of Marketing with the creation, implementation, tracking, and optimizing of our digital marketing campaigns. This role will be digitally focused, with an emphasis on online marketing strategies and campaign execution, but will also require overseeing local partnerships, coordinating community engagement events, and serving as the company spokesperson for media interviews, ensuring Hunters presence both online and in the community.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute social media strategy, including development and scheduling of content, daily oversight, and reporting.
  • Manage paid digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Optimize website content and landing pages for SEO and user experience, including tracking and improving organic traffic through analytics tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Manage email marketing campaigns, including audience segmentation, A/B testing, automation, and performance reporting.
  • Manage the company’s online reputation by responding to reviews, questions, and messages on platforms like Google My Business, Yelp, and social media.
  • Stay up to date with digital marketing trends, tools, and industry best practices to continuously improve online marketing efforts.
  • Serve as the company’s spokesperson in the Eugene Market for media interviews, representing Hunter Communications in all public relations matters, including press releases, news outlets, and media inquiries.
  • Assist with the management of community partnerships, including local chambers, rotaries, etc.
  • Develop and coordinate Hunter-centered events as well as participate in local festivals, parades tradeshows, etc.
  • Support internal communications to ensure employees are aligned with external communications and the mission, vision, and values Hunter presents to the public.
  • Collaborate with the commercial and residential sales team on digital lead generation efforts including developing marketing materials and managing lead lists in the CRM.
  • Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in website maintenance, including updates, content management, and optimization, preferably with WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
  • Proficiency in email marketing platforms such as Constant Contact or MailChimp, with knowledge of audience segmentation, automation, and A/B testing.
  • Hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns, including search, display, and video advertising, with a strong understanding of keyword research, bidding strategies, and performance tracking.
  • Familiarity with social media advertising and analytics tools, including Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices, including on-page optimization, keyword strategy, and tracking website performance using tools like Google Analytics and SEMrush.
  • Experience with CRM systems and digital marketing platforms to manage leads, customer engagement, and marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including public speaking.
  • Capacity to work 2-4 evening/weekend events per month to foster community engagement at festivals, tradeshows, etc. ( could be more or less as needed )
  • The ability to lift 50 lbs. to set up event tents, tables, chairs, etc.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.

Preferred Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, communications, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of marketing experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce and Adobe Creative Suite a plus but not required.
