How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

The Manager, Digital Marketing is an integral role in the team and will lead strategic planning and execution of a variety of initiatives. The individual will focus on delivering results for paid search, other types of digital advertising, marketing automation, cross channel initiatives, vendor promotions, and market segment pilot opportunities. This role will be part of a larger digital marketing team and will partner with analytics, email, and other teams to deliver omnichannel, coordinated plans that align to organizational goals and create measurable results. You will manage the health of our digital marketing initiatives and own the process start to finish. You will also be responsible for cultivating a collaborative working relationship with many teams - the broader digital teams, regional teams, IT, leadership and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Regional Advertising Strategy & Execution

  • Carefully consider marketing requests and new opportunities from regional stakeholders with the goal of recommending strategies that you will execute in order to achieve the team’s goals

  • Collaborate with regional teams, field sales and other individuals to translate ideas into effective digital programs

  • Act as the key point of contact and expert for the local listings platform including information maintenance, platform optimization and reporting & analysis

  • In partnership with an external agency, manage local digital marketing campaigns to achieve defined goals and meet budget requirements

  • Meet regularly with regional leadership and sales/marketing associates to present results, gain approval for implementation of new tactics and answer questions related to digital marketing

National Advertising Strategy & Execution

  • Determine the most effective digital tactics to employ to reach campaign goals and use tools, benchmarks and prior campaign performance to forecast (model) the expected results to provide a data-driven recommendation to stakeholders

  • Collaborate with Marketing Operations and Creative teams to ensure brand guidelines are upheld and that the messaging and creative will lead to successful campaign outcomes

  • Flawlessly execute campaigns across platforms (SEM, programmatic, content marketing, etc.) or seamlessly though marketing automation

  • Work with the Sr. Manager, Digital Marketing to ensure revenue efficiency and budget governance for individual campaigns and entire programs

  • Utilize a tracking code framework to monitor results, including identifying any unexpected behaviors or other trends that may arise and report results with a “storytelling” approach

  • Transform analytical insights and reporting data into actionable optimizations, which can be shared and used to suggest A/B tests or further enhancements for continuous performance improvement

Digital Marketing Initiative & Advocacy

  • Demonstrate a passion for digital marketing in the planning and execution of campaigns as well as in monitoring trends and opportunities that would evolve our response strategy to competitive landscape and related market shifts

  • Drive internal best practices for digital marketing campaign execution

  • Provide recommendations to marketing leadership on how to expand digital marketing capability, reach and effectiveness using a combination of internal talent, skills, tools and platforms and outside partners, technologies and solutions

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BS degree in Marketing or related field

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ work experience in marketing/digital

  • Prior experience with local advertising and/or local listing management

  • Prior experience with a marketing automation platform

  • Strong digital marketing competencies and a proven ability to run digital marketing campaigns that deliver meaningful marketing and business results.

  • Thorough understanding of brand awareness and direct response marketing as it relates to paid search and display media planning

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills: decisive and action-orientedHighly analytical and detail-oriented with strong Excel skills.

  • Self-motivated and self-directed; conscientious approach to work assignments; enjoys operating at a fast pace while staying flexible to shift tasks frequently.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and succeed in a fast-paced environment by working independently and as a member of cross-functional teams to meet project objectives.
