Digital Manager - Marketing

Location: Hybrid to Wayne, PA
The Frontline Education Digital team plays a key role in driving the growth of our business by developing and executing effective digital marketing strategies. We are looking for a Digital Manager to accelerate the creation of customer value and strengthen long-term commitment to the Frontline Education brand through innovative digital campaigns.

Your role on the team:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Digital Manager to join our dynamic team at Frontline Education. In this role, you will develop and execute forward-thinking digital marketing strategies that drive exceptional customer acquisition, foster sustainable engagement, and ensure retention. The website will be your primary channel, serving as the cornerstone of Frontline's digital presence and a key driver of our marketing efforts.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales to align digital initiatives with broader business objectives. By employing a data-driven approach and strategic vision, you will optimize Frontline’s digital ecosystem to deliver measurable impact.

Success in this role will be measured by growth in key metrics, including Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), Pipeline (opportunities), and Closed Won deals. You will also focus on improving conversion rates across all digital channels and maximizing ROI by continuously refining digital spend across platforms and campaigns.

This position reports to the Senior Director of Demand Generation within the Marketing team.

You can expect to:

Digital Strategy Development
  • Contribute to and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and target audience needs.
    Example: Develop a strategy to increase traffic and engagement for the K-12 solutions pages by 20% in the next quarter.
  • Identify and evaluate emerging digital marketing trends, recommending actionable strategies to maintain a competitive edge.
    Example: Analyze the rise of short-form video content and propose strategies for incorporating more video into our content marketing plan to increase brand visibility and engagement.
  • Leverage customer insights, market research, and data analytics to optimize digital campaigns and drive measurable results.
    Example: Use insights from user behavior analytics to improve the call-to-action buttons on landing pages, increasing conversions by 10%.

Website Strategy Management
  • Own and oversee the strategy and performance of the company website, ensuring it is a high-performing, user-friendly, and SEO-optimized hub for Frontline’s digital presence.
    Example: Consistently review key pages, optimizing for both SEO and user experience to drive a 15% increase in time-on-site metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage and update website content, including creating and optimizing landing pages to improve conversion rates.
    Example: Work with the Solution Marketing team to update landing page content and design for upcoming product launches, aiming for a 20% improvement in lead generation.
  • Utilize analytics tools to monitor site performance, track user behavior, and generate actionable insights for continuous improvement.
    Example: Use Google Analytics to track bounce rates on key pages and implement strategies to reduce bounce rates by 25% over the next two months.
  • Collaborate with Corporate IT, Legal and Security, to ensure the website is regularly updated with the latest information, aligns with company objectives, and meets compliance requirements and regulations.

Digital Advertising and Paid Campaigns
  • Collaborate with Demand Generation, Marketing Ops, and Solution Marketing to create compelling campaigns that resonate with K-12 personas and inspire engagement.
    Example: Partner with Demand Generation to create a segmented audience list for paid media targeting superintendents, resulting in a 10% increase in campaign reach.
  • Support planning and execute and optimize digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as search engines, social media, display networks, and Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives.
    Example: Develop a comprehensive paid search strategy targeting decision-makers in K-12 districts, with the goal of increasing lead volume by 30%.
  • Execute the paid search and paid social campaigns with precision, driving brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation, and regularly reporting on those metrics.
    Example: Support paid social media campaigns on LinkedIn to increase engagement with K-12 leaders and double the number of form submissions from key districts.
  • Monitor trends and performance metrics to refine strategies for maximum impact.
    Example: Regularly analyze performance metrics on digital ads and adjust targeting to optimize cost-per-click (CPC) while improving conversion rates by 15%.
  • Manage relationships with advertising platforms, agencies, and vendors to maximize ROI and achieve campaign objectives.
    Example: Negotiate contract renewals with major platforms like Google Ads and LinkedIn to ensure favorable terms and competitive ad spend for upcoming campaigns.

Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) and Analytics
  • Implement and test conversion rate optimization strategies to enhance engagement and lead generation across all digital touchpoints.
    Example: A/B test different versions of landing page designs, measuring the impact on form submissions and improving the conversion rate by 12%.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and regular reports to track performance, identify opportunities, and measure the success of digital marketing initiatives.
    Example: Set up weekly reporting dashboards to track key metrics, including website traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates and lead generation.

Collaboration and Innovation
  • Act as a digital marketing thought leader, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on strategies and goals.
    Example: Lead quarterly strategy sessions with the Demand Gen and Solution Marketing teams to align on digital marketing priorities and ensure the strategy supports overall business goals.
  • Evaluate and implement innovative digital tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance Frontline’s digital footprint and campaign performance.
    Example: Introduce a new AI-powered customer segmentation tool that improves targeting accuracy by 25%, driving better results from paid campaigns.

What you bring to the role:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, digital marketing, a related field or relevant work experience.
  • 5-8 years of proven work experience in Digital, preferably in the SaaS industry.
  • 1-2 years of management experience driving the development of a high performing team.
  • Strong knowledge in digital marketing strategies, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of concepts, cutting-edge tools, industry best practices, and a continual commitment to staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations.
  • Experience in managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
  • Proficiency in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms (Marketo), and CRM systems (Salesforce).
  • Experience with Account-Based Marketing tools and concepts.
  • Experience with SEO, SEM, social media advertising, email marketing, and ABM.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, leveraging strong interpersonal and leadership skills to achieve remarkable results collectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
