Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing Manager must have a strong understanding of the web and digital marketing strategies and tactics that drive customer acquisition. He/she must be able to own the development, implementation and execution of digital marketing efforts to promote the Mount Sinai Health System's services, enhance visibility, and increase patient appointments. This individual will work closely with internal stakeholders, external vendors, and cross-functional teams to create and execute data-driven campaigns that align with the Health System’s strategic goals and strengthening its reputation as preeminent in the areas of health care, medical education, and scientific research.
Responsibilities
Project Management and Stakeholder Relationships

Build and maintain effective working relationships with departments throughout the Mount Sinai Health System.
- Serve as the primary point-of-contact between the Digital Marketing Department and service lines providing strategic guidance and leading day-to-day project management and workflow.
- Performs the overall day-to-day management of multiple projects to ensure that project objectives are achieved within time/cost/quality constraints.
- Responsible for project documentation including project plans and status reports.
- Collaborate closely with other teams within the Digital Marketing (Search Engine Optimization, Data & Analytics, Email Marketing,
- Content Management, and Social Media) and larger Central Marketing team to provide 360-degree marketing and communication services for services areas.
Digital Marketing Campaigns
- Develop and implement comprehensive, targeted, digital campaigns to support Hospital or service line business objectives ensuring they are in line with the larger Health System’s mission, priorities and goals.

Partner with Mount Sinai’s agency partners and stakeholders to develop, implement, track and optimize digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic and conversions.
- Campaigns may include pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns, programmatic and retargeted display ads, and social media ads

Use analytics tools (e.g. Tableau and Marchex Dashboards) to track and report on campaign performance
- Provide insights and analysis on all campaign key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics
- Manage campaign performance reports and share results with leadership regularly
- Manage budget associated with digital marketing campaigns for assigned areas
Website Management
- Collaborate with colleagues throughout the Health System to ensure digital marketing best practices are being implemented on the website, templates and navigations are providing an ideal user experience
- Work with stakeholders and internal editorial team to translate basic science, clinical, and education news into compelling content for website and other digital properties.
- Edit and optimize website components (copy, page title/descriptions, and site architecture) to increase natural search engine rankings and drive strategic goals and messaging for service lines and departments.
- Partner with the creative team to ensure the website highlights the breadth of diversity within the health system – in who we are and who we serve.
Training and Compliance
- Stay ahead of industry trends by maintaining a thorough understanding of best practices, new tools, relevant industry benchmarks, and KPIs.
- Ensure all digital marketing activities comply with healthcare regulations (HIPAA).

Qualifications
Education Requirements:
- BA/BS degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or related field, or equivalent work experience required.
Experience Requirements:
- Seven plus years of demonstrated work experience in -advertising, marketing communications, or related field
- Experience in health care marketing is a plus
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage details while responding to changing priorities and feedback
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong understanding of SEO, SEM, display, paid social, and other marketing tactics
- Experience in developing, writing, and presenting integrated marketing strategies
- Demonstrated experience conceptualizing and executing successful marketing campaigns

- Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, meeting deadlines, and working with team members and outside vendors to complete projects on time and within budget.

Compensation Statement
The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides a salary range to comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for this role is $79,720.00 - $119,580.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
