SHORT DESCRIPTION

The Digital Marketing and Promotions Manager will lead digital communication strategies to enhance ticket sales and community engagement for Broadway Dallas, collaborating with marketing professionals and local vendors.

Compensation: $55,000 annual salary paid twice monthly
Desired Start Date: February 17, 2025
Schedule: Weekday shift from 8:30am-5:30pm, adjusted as necessary for significant night and weekend work based on Broadway Dallas event/meeting programming
Location: Music Hall at Fair Park, Dallas, TX
Remote Work: Flex: In person at the worksite, with up to 2 days/week remote as assigned by supervisor

Position Summary:
The Digital Marketing and Promotions Manager is the first point of contact for all digital communication channels including paid and organic social, search, programmatic (display, video, audio, ConnectedTV), website, and email/SMS communications. Create content, track metrics, set-up and execute targeted advertising campaigns, and more in service of the shows/concerts and other events and programs presented and produced by Broadway Dallas—one of the region’s largest nonprofit arts organizations. You’ll join a team of advertising/communications professionals with decades of marketing and agency experience and work with local vendors and national networks and promoters/partners including Broadway Across America, Live Nation, and advertising/marketing agencies with the goal to maximize single ticket and subscription sales to the hundreds of events Broadway Dallas hosts each year. The digital marketing and promotions manager will also collaborate directly with other Broadway Dallas employees who will rely on expertise and creativity in the role to better promote internal fundraising, customer service, and education/community campaigns.

This position requires regular on-site work in and around the Music Hall at Fair Park. Familiarity with Fair Park and its surrounding neighborhoods is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Under the authority of the director of marketing, develop and implement an overall digital strategy that delivers on Key Performance Indicators (KPI) including revenue, social media, and email list engagement and growth
  • Create and manage effective organic and paid social media campaigns promoting subscription and single ticket sales, community/promotional partnerships, education, fundraising, and other programs
  • Adhere to Broadway Dallas’ branding and “voice” across all channels
  • Initiate and manage relationships with social media influencers
  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Broadway Dallas website as well as daily comments on all social media platforms
  • Oversee Broadway Dallas paid search (including Google Grant) to ensure it meets or exceeds KPIs
  • Implement and monitor streamlined analytics/tracking for all digital efforts and ensure they meet budget and other metrics/requirements
  • Create and distribute periodic comprehensive and cumulative reports on all Broadway Dallas digital efforts
  • Program and ensure appropriate messaging/placement on surrounding digital marquee and inbound traffic message Changeable Message Sign (CMS) boards
  • Provide photography/videography/editing services for various Broadway Dallas projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two or more years of digital marketing experience
  • One or more years’ experience at a similar position in the performing arts and/or an agency
  • Demonstrated expertise in paid and organic engagement, content creation, and sales/conversion strategies on major social media platforms such as Meta (Facebook/Instagram), X (formerly Twitter), TikTok, LinkedIn, and/or YouTube
  • Demonstrated competency in writing website, social media, and email content (samples may be requested)
  • Demonstrated competency in photography, filming, and associated editing and graphic design software such as Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, etc. (samples may be requested)
  • Demonstrated competency in Wordpress or other similar CMS/website software
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Google Analytics, SEO, and email marketing best practices and metrics/reporting
  • Demonstrated fluency in Microsoft Office suite software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams
  • Access to consistent method of transport to/from the Music Hall at Fair Park and other designated work locations (venues, off-site event/meeting sites, etc.)

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Customer service experience or Business to Consumer (B2C) marketing experience
  • Demonstrated appreciation of musical theatre or the performing arts in general

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
