SHORT DESCRIPTION
Support and enhance the organization's digital marketing efforts by developing strategies, managing content, optimizing online presence, and analyzing marketing campaign performance.
Job Summary:
Responsible for supporting and enhancing the organization's digital marketing efforts and online presence. This role involves developing and implementing digital marketing strategies, managing content across multiple digital platforms, including but not limited to Google Ad accounts, marketing automation tools, the credit union website, and some social medica management; in addition to search engine optimization, and analyzing campaign performance. Works closely with other OURCU marketing and data professionals to ensure cohesive and effective marketing campaigns across various digital platforms in alignment with organizational goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Developing and Implementing Digital Marketing Strategies: In collaboration with the Director of Marketing, creating and executing comprehensive digital marketing plans to meet business objectives.
- Content Management: Work collaboratively with the OURCU Marketing Specialist to strategize content creation and execution for social media, website, digital advertising and email marketing strategies. Responsible for managing multiple digital platforms, including but not limited to Google Ad accounts, marketing automation tools, the credit union website, and some social media management.
- Manage Website Updates: Oversee website updates and blogs using Square Space and other CMS platforms, ensuring that all information is current and accurately reflects the brand.
- SEO and SEM: Optimizing web content for search engines and managing search engine marketing campaigns to improve visibility and traffic.
- Analytics and Reporting: Use of data analytics tools to monitor and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed.
- Email Marketing: Designing and executing email marketing campaigns to engage and retain customers.
- Manage Credit Union's Online Reputation: Track and respond to member reviews, inquiries and feedback through digital channels.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of credit union compliance regulations to ensure all marketing campaigns adhere to legal standards and best practices.
- Collaboration: Working with OURCU team members to ensure brand consistency and appropriate credit union compliance requirements across digital channels.
- Monitor Industry Trends: Stay updated on social and digital marketing industry trends and adapt the organization's platforms accordingly to maintain relevance and competitiveness.
- Community Engagement Support: Assist Community Engagement Manager and Regional Community Development Officers at in person and virtual events, when needed.
- Other Duties as Assigned.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience
Concentration in marketing, communications, e-Commerce, business or related major is highly preferred. High level of proficiency in Internet marketing concepts & practices, including the ability to conceptualize user navigation/flow through new online services. • Proficiency with PC • High proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Proficiency in use of the online and mobile technologies • Proficiency in direct marketing • Proficiency in using digital marketing tools and platforms • Preferred experience with CMS< CRM, and other data driven tools: Square Space, HubSpot, Tableau, etc.
Education/Certifications/Licenses:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in digital marketing, communications, data science, or related field, preferred. Must have a minimum of two years of experience in digital marketing or related field and a combination of prior years of experience in combination with education may be considered.
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Team player with a strong work ethic and a high level of confidentiality. - Prior financial institution experience preferred. - Must have the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines in a very fast paced environment.
Other Skills:
Two to four years work experience digital media; planning, development, search engine optimization (SEO), paid search (PPC), display media, social media and shopping or partnership feeds. Must possess knowledge of analytics and user experience, website management, and direct mail required. be knowledgeable in research analysis, Internet environment, survey methods, regulatory compliance, and current business and marketing trends. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Quark Express, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Thorough understanding of Internet environments and web site development. Exceptional knowledge of the English language is particularly important.
Qualifications:

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform occasional physical activities such as lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, squatting, twisting, and reaching.

Physical Requirements:
Has the ability to sit at a desk for long periods of time, able to bend, sit, and stand in order to perform primarily sedentary work with limited physical exertion and occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation. Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance.
Working Conditions:
Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.
Mental and/or Emotional Requirements:
Must be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to complete basic mathematical calculations, spell accurately, and understand computer basics. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public. Must be able to perform responsibilities with composure under the stress of deadlines / requirements for extreme accuracy and quality and/or fast pace. Must be able to effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities. Must be capable of exercising highest level of discretion on both internal and external confidential matters.
