Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred, 2+ years of experience in social media and digital marketing, proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, and familiarity with marketing tools like Google Ads and Hootsuite.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Digital Marketing Specialist will assist in enhancing client engagement and capturing new business opportunities through effective digital marketing strategies, social media management, and content creation.
The Digital Marketing Specialist is part of our CX team and will assist the Communications and Marketing Manager in increasing existing business, engaging with clients and capturing new opportunities. They will be responsible for creating, running and tracking ad campaigns, creating and updating marketing materials, including social media content (posts, strategies and editorial calendars), researching potential target markets and assisting with various projects relating to our overall brand(s) strategy. The position is responsible for understanding our business, brands and services, as well as creating materials to further our companywide objectives.
Duties
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute social media strategies that align with business goals across various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.)
- Create, schedule and monitor engaging content through Hootsuite or similar social media management tools
- Manage community interactions, respond to messages and foster engagement across social media channels
- Design and implement digital advertising campaigns aligned with departmental and business goals, including but not limited to Google Ads and social media ads
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity across digital platforms
- Prepare email marketing campaigns, lead nurturing and analytics to enhance engagement and conversions
- Develop and maintain content on our WordPress website, including landing pages, blog posts and other web updates
- Design compelling digital assets using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.) for social media, email and ad campaigns
- Leverage Constant Contact for email newsletters, segmentation and targeted campaigns
- Track, analyze and report on key metrics to evaluate the success of digital marketing efforts and adjust strategies as needed
- Conduct research and perform data entry on target markets and/or best practices for various projects and campaigns
- Perform website and marketing material updates, ensuring all branding guidelines are followed
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud
- Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word (at least 50 wpm), Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Familiarity with (and/or willingness to learn) digital marketing tools, such as Google Ads, Hootsuite, HubSpot and Constant Contact
- Graphic design skills
- Social media management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter and committed to success
- Organized and able to prioritize tasks
- Problem solving and strategic thinking
- Flexibility to occasionally work outside of normal office hours
Experience/Education:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred but not required. Work experience may substitute education.
- 2+ years of experience in related social media and digital marketing
- Experience in community management is preferred, but not required
- Familiarity with Adobe CC, Constant Contact, Social Media Management and RFP management software
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Physical Demands
The Digital Marketing Specialist may spend long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position also requires some lifting of supplies and materials from time to time.
Environmental Conditions
This position is in a busy, open office area. The candidate will be faced with interruptions and must be flexible and organized to keep projects and tasks on track. The candidate will work on a team with members in other locations and needs to be proactive and communicative to ensure alignment with team efforts.
