Position Summary:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the development and execution of various digital marketing initiatives. This role involves collaborating with other departments and managers to optimize resources and implement new strategies. The Specialist must use statistical data to forecast future trends and identify insights to create actionable recommendations. The Specialist should utilize social media advertising to promote content and manage current social media accounts. The Specialist works with the Director of Marketing to implement a social media plan, provide recommendations for improvements to the company website, and manage website content. Photography and video editing skills are required for creating visually appealing content for social media and the company website. The Specialist plans and executes email campaigns, DM Campaigns, customer surveys and texting programs. Additional responsibilities include coordinating radio, billboards, and print schedules, attending events, and establishing strong relationships with each department.


Core Duties and Responsibilities:

The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and execute digital marketing initiatives, including but not limited to email campaigns, social media campaigns, and website content.
  • Collaborate with other departments and managers to ensure optimization of resources and implementation of new initiatives.
  • Analyze statistical data to forecast future digital marketing trends and identify insights to create actionable recommendations.
  • Utilize social media advertising to promote content and expand reach.
  • Manage all current social media accounts for FBRC, including coordinating with respective managers and the graphics team to ensure accurate and current information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of customer profiles, financial data, and marketing strategies, unless expressly authorized.
  • Work with Director of Marketing to implement a social media plan and strategy, as well as develop and execute all social media initiatives.
  • Provide recommendations regarding improvements to FBRC website content and design.
  • Manage website content to ensure accurate and timely posting of property and promotional details.
  • Create content for FBRC website blog and social media campaigns.
  • Utilize photography and video editing skills to create visually appealing content for social media and FBRC website.
  • Plan and execute all FBRC email campaigns, as well as build promotions in the Promotional Kiosk with email offers.
  • Plan and execute customer surveys, coordinating with other departments when necessary.
  • Plan and execute FBRC texting program, coordinating with other departments when necessary.
  • Coordinate radio, billboards and print schedules and send out radio and print insertion orders to ensure timelines are met.
  • Attend events and functions to provide social media support, including live streaming and digital photography.
  • Visit each department regularly to establish strong relationships and best practices.
  • Proofread samples from internal graphics and outside print vendors to ensure accuracy.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required by the company.

Qualifications – Education and Experience:


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field and/or 2-3 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in using social media platforms for business purposes.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Certifications in Google Analytics, Google Ads, or other relevant platforms.
  • Experience in photography and video editing.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with website optimization.
  • Experience in email marketing, with knowledge of email service providers like Mailchimp or iPost.
  • Experience in managing social media advertising campaigns.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
