Seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Strategist to drive innovative client acquisition strategies and support client growth at Grey Matter, a fast-growing B2B demand generation agency.
Description
Position Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Lead the onboarding process and develop customer acquisition strategies following the 6-Cs framework and aligning to client objectives and priorities.
- Oversee on-page messaging strategy, incorporating a problem/solution framework and adhering to UX best practices to optimize conversions.
- Lead monthly client Reporting & Analytics discussions and QBRs in conjunction with the search team, developing and presenting slide decks that analyze performance and provide actionable insights and optimization recommendations.
- Review monthly spend reporting in collaboration with the activation team and develop recommendations to meet client business objectives and maximize ROI.
- Nurture and develop Digital Marketing Specialist talent, fostering a positive and growth-oriented team environment.
- Identify ways to deliver the “unfair advantage” for each client and merchandise success toward that commitment.
- Collaborate with clients as an integral extension of their teams, discussing business priorities and strategic opportunities.
- Share client input, direction, priorities, milestones, and other material information with the internal team to ensure all work incorporates new news and inputs.
- Lead discussions with clients to evaluate their sales processes, identifying potential risks in lead management and conversion, and provide strategic recommendations for improvement.
- Spearhead the development of campaign and content briefs, working closely with the Digital Marketing Specialist to ensure effective deliverable execution and adherence to overall strategy.
- Review and approve all work, ensuring alignment with client objectives, priorities, and strategic direction.
- Establish communication protocols with each client adopted by the entire team with respect to expectations around responding to inquiries, providing updates and clarity on deliverables, meeting deadlines and commitments, etc.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in customer acquisition, demand generation, or a similar role within a B2B marketing environment.
- Strong understanding of B2B demand generation strategies, tactics, and best practices.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful customer acquisition strategies that drive growth and meet client objectives.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present complex information to clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Experience in content strategy and development, as well as familiarity with UX best practices.
- Leadership experience, with a focus on fostering a positive and growth-oriented team culture.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
