SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Digital Media Producer is responsible for enhancing online presence through strategic digital marketing initiatives, managing campaigns, and producing engaging content to drive audience engagement and brand awareness.
About The Role:
The Digital Media Producer plays a key role in shaping and enhancing the company’s online presence through strategic digital marketing initiatives. You will be responsible for overseeing and executing digital media strategies across multiple platforms to boost brand awareness, drive engagement, and foster lasting relationships with our audience. This role focuses on managing digital marketing campaigns, maintaining social media accounts, and producing on-brand content to promote ongoing projects, ensuring consistent and compelling content across all channels. Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Assist in developing and implementing a comprehensive media marketing strategy across business verticals that align with Stay Plugged In’s overall brand and business objectives.
- Assist in defining key performance indicators (KPI’s) for social media campaigns and track their effectiveness to make necessary changes as needed to drive continuous improvement.
- Marketing & Social Media Coverage:
- Oversee and manage daily social media activities, including preparing, updating, and executing our Social Media Strategy & Content Calendar
- Responsible for all content publishing, community engagement, and ensuring that all content is on-brand and contributed to our overall marketing goals.
- Develop and execute short and long-term content strategies aligned with events, leagues, activities, and marketing promotions.
- Assess performance metrics to refine content strategies and drive engagement.
- Participate in creative ideation sessions to generate impactful ideas for both the brand and partners.
- Attend tournaments and events to ensure timely content coverage.
- Assist in the development of promotional and content marketing strategies.
- Ensure consistent voice, tone, style, and content on all social channels.
- Assist with copy on any web-based content including but not limited to email blasts, storefronts, newsletters, etc. and engage with our designers to create compelling assets.
- Help instill best practices when it comes to marketing management—so we can improve our work efficiencies, meet deadlines and deliver on our ambition for excellence.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Collaborate with the creative department on engaging and high-quality content for various social media platforms, including but not limited to X, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Twitch, and LinkedIn.
- Collaborate with the internal team to develop captivating visuals, videos, and other multimedia assets.
- Assist in the planning, execution, and coordination of digital and in-person activations alongside the Stay Plugged In team.
- Ability to create on-the-fly trending and compelling static and video content that works well on social media and/or utilizing the creative team to get this content produced.
- Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Regularly analyze social media performance data to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Generate comprehensive reports on key metrics, providing insights and recommendations for optimizing future social media initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with a visual sensibility.
- Proven track record of experience in social media or marketing
- Ability to map out and execute comprehensive social media marketing strategies
- Possesses a can-do, make it happen attitude
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong project management skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Possesses a creative mind and is able to conceptualize and conceive of content ideas
- Proficiency in social media analytics and digital analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of esports & gaming culture, popular trends in gaming, and the online community landscape.
- Familiarity with popular esports & gaming titles, industry events, influencers, and partners.
- Basic understanding in video editing software (e.g. Adobe Premiere, CapCut) or graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Canva).
Earn Bonus Points If You Have:
- Proficiency in Discord.
- Intermediate or higher ability in video editing software or graphic design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Suite).
- Experience in photography and photo editing
- Experience in esports or video games
Additional Requirements:
- While the standard working hours are typically from 9 to 5, the nature of our business may sometimes require flexibility. The successful candidate should be prepared to occasionally work outside these hours, including evenings and weekends, when required.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for meetings, conferences, or events. Travel will be covered by the company.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
