Digital Strategy Manager
LOCATION
Candidates will be working with the Peachtree Hospitality portfolio, with potential hybrid work arrangements.
QUALIFICATIONS
At least two years of experience in marketing or digital strategy, strong communication skills in English, proficiency with Microsoft Office, knowledge of social media, web analytics, and digital advertising platforms, and experience with SEO and PPC campaigns.

Manage digital strategies for hotels, conduct online content audits, coordinate digital marketing initiatives, oversee social media content, execute email campaigns, recommend web enhancements, manage online advertising, and participate in revenue strategy calls.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Digital Strategy Manager will develop and execute digital strategies to enhance market share and online presence for hotels within the Peachtree Hospitality portfolio.
The Digital Strategy Manager will manage and execute projects and tasks for owned and managed hotels within the Peachtree Hospitality portfolio. This role collaborates with contributors and stakeholders from each region and hotel, sales, revenue strategy, operations, and corporate leadership to create and implemented digital strategies to gain market share through defined channels.
Essential functions:
- Work with revenue and sales team to identify need hotels and dates. Assist in implementation of strategies and tactics to increase contribution of reservations from primary e-channels, brand website, and hotel websites and tracking of results.
- Become a “brand expert” in assigned brand(s) for all digital strategy related tasks, best practices, and initiatives. Regularly report on updates or changes.
- Conduct regular audits of hotels’ online content to include web.com, OTA and other third-party sites to ensure accuracy and consistency across all online channels. Complete content updates, etc. as necessary through provided content management system, brand, or extranets.
- Recommend and coordinate photoshoots and implementation of new images for hotels following a photo shoot. Audit brand sites, vanity sites, OTAs, Social pages, review sites, etc. for old images and replace with updated images as needed.
- Transition and education of new properties using digital guidelines.
- Participate and assist in social media and influencer management content (organic and paid) and ad creation and distribution of hotel social media accounts. Tracking of identified key performance indicators.
- Work with corporate and brand tools, development and execution of targeted email campaigns following corporate and brand best practices. Communication of campaign performance following deployment.
- Proactively make recommendations to improve web presence, marketing performance, and revenue generation. Execute changes as needed.
- Execution and maintenance of online travel agency advertising and brand Meta advertising. Reporting of results and implementation of strategies available for each brand.
- Identify potential new public relations opportunities for hotels and channels for distribution.
- Research and stay current on emerging technology, providers, and trends that could have a positive impact on hotel online presence, revenue derived from online efforts, and the overall performance of hotel online marketing initiatives.
- Monitor consumer review sites. Petition for review wipes when needed for newly renovated hotels. Assist in content management for travel sites, i.e., Trip Advisor, Yelp, etc. Improve property rankings through site management
- Understand star ratings on online travel agencies. Assist in petitioning for changes.
- Update the Digital Strategy SharePoint as needed.
- Assist business development when requested for research and digital data on new or existing properties. Assist operation team as requested.
- Participate in weekly revenue conference calls as requested with hotels prepared to discuss and review digital strategy items and initiatives. Record and/or update hotel & revenue team with recap from call as necessary.
- Participate in departmental meetings and calls to discuss status and review updates for assigned hotels, corporate initiatives, brand updates, etc.
- Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.
Education and experience:
- At least two years of experience in a measurable role dealing with marketing or digital strategy
- Must be able to communicate (speak, read, write) in the English language.
- Professional Communication Skills – verbal and written
- Excellent Computer Skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Excellent proofreading skills
- Understanding of Koddi ads system and online travel agency advertising.
- Ability to multi-task, self-motivate
- Ability to conduct research and generate online strategies.
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge of social media sites – Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat
- Working knowledge of website analytical tools to include Google Analytics
- Get it done attitude with willingness to work additional hours if unexpected projects or tight deadlines require it.
- Adaptable in a constantly changing environment, organized and able to handle pressure well.
- Knowledge and understanding of open source and proprietary web site platforms such as WordPress or Weebly and web languages (HTML, CSS)
- Advanced computer skills, including Office and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.)
- Experienced with Expedia Travel Ads, Booking.com Native Ads, Priceline Ads and brand direct media management through Koddi.
- Experience with Hotel brand extranets.
- Experience in press release creation, distribution, and optimization
- Knowledge and understanding of SEM and SEO
- Knowledge and understanding of PPC campaign creation, Google AdWords, etc.
