Seeking a Director of B2B Marketing to lead marketing efforts, drive business growth, create compelling campaigns, and support revenue generation while collaborating with sales leadership.

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of B2B Marketing to lead our marketing efforts and drive business growth across multiple divisions. This role is a perfect blend of high-level strategy and hands-on execution, requiring both leadership finesse and a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. As part of our small but mighty B2B marketing team, you’ll be equally comfortable crafting overarching strategies and diving into the trenches to bring those plans to life. Working closely with the Sales leadership team, you will play a crucial role in defining and implementing effective marketing campaigns that resonate with B2B audiences, generate qualified leads, and support revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in B2B marketing, and the ability to collaborate seamlessly with the sales team while also being ready to get their hands dirty in day-to-day marketing operations.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation and Demand Generation:
  • Develop and execute lead generation and demand generation strategies to generate qualified leads and support revenue growth.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of CPG Sales to align marketing efforts with their goals and develop targeted marketing programs that drive lead generation and customer acquisition.
  • Leverage a mix of digital marketing, content marketing, events, thought leadership, and account-based marketing strategies to engage and convert target customers.
Collateral Creation and Organization:
  • Oversee the creation and delivery of compelling marketing collateral, including sales enablement materials, whitepapers, case studies, website content, and thought leadership content.
  • Ensure that all marketing collateral is aligned with the brand messaging and positioning.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to the Head of CPG Sales on effective sales angles, pitch ideas, and messaging to drive engagement and conversions.
Data Insights and Surveying:
  • Utilize data insights and user surveys to inform marketing pitches, whitepapers, and other marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to leverage customer data and market insights for improved targeting and customer engagement.
Conference Support:
  • Lead out the strategy and execution of sales team conferences, including collateral creation, booth design, speaking engagements and overall conference strategy.
Collaborate with the Head of CPG Sales to maximize brand visibility and create engaging experiences that attract potential customers at conferences and industry events.
LinkedIn Strategy:
  • Develop and execute an effective LinkedIn strategy to enhance brand visibility, engage target audiences, and generate leads.
  • Optimize LinkedIn profiles, content, and advertising campaigns to reach and engage B2B professionals.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to align LinkedIn strategies and initiatives with their sales objectives.
Digital Marketing Strategy:
  • Drive the development and execution of a comprehensive digital marketing strategy, including SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing, social media, and marketing automation.
  • Collaborate with the Head of CPG Sales to ensure a cohesive approach to customer acquisition and retention, leveraging digital channels to reach and engage B2B global audiences.
Market Monitoring and Adaptation:
  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to identify new opportunities and challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Head of CPG Sales to adapt marketing strategies accordingly, aligning with evolving market dynamics and customer needs.
Analytics and Reporting:
  • Establish robust analytics and reporting mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and campaigns.Utilize data-driven insights to optimize performance, inform decision-making, and collaborate with the sales team to drive overall revenue growth.
Brand Consistency:
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including the Head of CPG Sales, to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing touchpoints and channels.
  • Work closely with the creative team to maintain a cohesive visual identity and brand voice.
Collaboration with Head of CPG Sales:
  • Work closely with the Head of CPG Sales to align marketing and sales efforts, fostering a collaborative and supportive relationship.
  • Provide support and guidance to the Head of CPG Sales on sales-related initiatives and campaigns.
  • Collaborate on B2B outreach strategies and marketing materials, ensuring effective communication of the value proposition to CPG clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in B2B marketing, with a focus on lead generation, demand generation, and marketing strategy.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, events, thought leadership, and account-based marketing.
  • Experience in managing and leading marketing teams.Excellent data analysis and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in marketing automation, CRM, and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with sales teams and other stakeholders.
