Get to Know the Opportunity:
We are seeking a dynamic Director of B2B Marketing to lead marketing efforts for our Wealth and Retail businesses. This leader will play a critical role in aligning marketing activities with the strategic priorities of our Workplace Solutions business and ensuring that efforts drive measurable growth. Additionally, this role will connect the dots between Wealth and Health businesses, identifying and implementing marketing best practices to enhance efficiency and align with Voya’s holistic workplace benefits strategy. Reporting to the VP of Workplace Solutions B2B Marketing, this role will partner directly with business stakeholders to act as a strategic consultant, proactively translating business needs into marketing strategies and initiatives.
The Contributions You'll Make:
  • Strategic Alignment: Collaborate with business leaders to ensure marketing initiatives align with the priorities and growth objectives of Voya’s Wealth and Retail businesses within the Workplace Solutions framework.
  • Integrated Marketing Leadership: Develop and execute B2B marketing strategies targeting intermediaries, employers, and other stakeholders, focusing on growth, retention, and differentiation in the retirement and retail markets.
  • Holistic Strategy Integration: Identify and implement marketing best practices across Wealth and Health businesses, fostering collaboration and alignment around Voya’s workplace benefits strategy.
  • Consultative Partnership: Function as a strategic marketing consultant to business stakeholders, identifying opportunities to enhance market presence and drive engagement through innovative solutions.
  • Campaign Development: Oversee the creation and execution of targeted, data-driven marketing campaigns that deliver measurable results across digital, social, content, and traditional channels.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing marketing team to deliver results that align with business goals. Foster collaboration across teams and champion a customer-first mindset.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Product, Sales, Communications, Customer Experience, and Analytics teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts.
  • Market Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes affecting the retirement, retail, and employee benefits markets. Use this knowledge to inform strategy and innovation.
  • Metrics & Insights: Define KPIs and leverage analytics to measure the impact of marketing initiatives. Continuously optimize campaigns based on data and insights.
Minimum Knowledge & Experience
  • Industry Expertise: 5+ years' experience in the retirement and retail businesses, with a strong understanding of intermediaries, employers, and employee benefits markets.
  • Marketing Leadership: Proven success in leading B2B marketing initiatives, including campaign strategy, execution, and measurement.
  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to connect business objectives with marketing strategies, driving impactful results.
  • Cross-Domain Integration: Experience identifying synergies and best practices across related business lines to improve efficiency and drive alignment.
  • Team Management: Experience building, leading, and developing high-performing teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas effectively to executive leadership.
  • Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in using data and analytics to inform decision-making and optimize performance.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Compensation Pay Disclosure:
Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.
The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and/or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.
Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
$153,370 - $191,710 USD
