SHORT DESCRIPTION
Tonix is seeking a Director of Brand Marketing to lead the development of marketing strategies targeting healthcare professionals, consumers, and caregivers while managing the execution of promotional activities related to their CNS and immunology product portfolio.

Position Overview
Tonix is looking for a full-time Director, Brand Marketing. The individual is responsible to develop tactics that are aligned to strategy, with a focus on HCP professional, consumer, patient and caregiver promotion. Areas of focus is on driving the development of field sales personal promotion tools, non-personal professional, PR, patient and caregiver promotional efforts. This role is a product champion with the field sales team as they work with field sales training and sales leadership to execute field sales tactics. The role is responsible for ensuring the tactical plan is aligned to the brand advertising & promotion budget. In addition, the individual will be responsible for collaborating with the commercial operations team to analyze data to monitor brand performance, analyze market trends and recommend actions as appropriate.This position will report directly to the Vice President, Marketing and will be based at the Chatham, NJ office.
Essential Duties
- Build/lead/develop a high performing team of marketers
- Maintain detailed understanding of disease and competitive marketplace
- Define customer insights, journeys, and segmentation; product positioning; creative strategy, core messaging and content plans; integrated, cross channel promotional mix
- Manage a team of agency partners by setting a strategic vision for effective completion and execution of tactics; manage brand budgets within the guidance set by senior leadership.
Necessary Skills and Abilities
- Record of successfully working with commercial, market access, medical, sales, operations
- Track record of successfully achieving business goals
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Skilled in presenting and tailoring presentations to, engaging audiences
- Ability to develop business plans, create and manage budgets.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple high priorities, identify resource needs, drive to completion, prepare reports, and evaluate results.
- Strong understanding of marketing business processes and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements
- Experience working with field-based sales force and market access issues and trends, assessing product portfolio and commercial opportunities
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Business/Marketing or related disciplines
- Master Degree (MBA) preferred
- 10+ years of Pharmaceutical or Biotech Marketing experience developing strategies, implementing tactical plans, managing budgets, with increasing levels of exposure and leadership preferred
- Experience working with or within advertising agencies of record
- Experience working with Key Opinion Leaders
- Experience in pharmaceutical sales preferred

Compensation & Benefits
Annualized base salary ranges from $175,000 to $240,000 plus target incentive; actual salaries will vary and may be above or below this range commensurate with several factors including experience, education, training, location, and merit.
