THE JOB:

The Director of Advertising and Brand Marketing is responsible for executing comprehensive strategies and tactics to achieve organizational goals. This role integrates with all disciplines within the department to ensure a cohesive 360-degree communications strategy. The Director will oversee project management for advertising campaigns and manage the day-to-day advertising efforts for a major resort property, ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

  • Partner with the VP of Marketing to implement the annual advertising plan, aligning campaigns with company goals.

  • Oversee advertising efforts across print, broadcast, and digital channels to drive brand awareness and traffic.

  • Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media buyers, and vendors to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.

  • Negotiate contracts and oversee installation and maintenance of outdoor displays.

  • Conduct and analyze marketing research to refine strategies and improve results.

  • Prepare and manage the annual advertising budget, reporting monthly accruals and spend.

  • Lead and develop the advertising and marketing team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

  • Assess staffing needs and optimize job roles to align with department goals.

  • Align advertising initiatives with the Strategic Plan, ensuring cohesive branding and collaboration with internal teams.

  • Drive brand marketing, community partnerships, and public communications efforts.

  • Approve photo and video shoots, ensuring content aligns with brand standards.

  • Implement integrated marketing strategies to enhance guest engagement and business outcomes


THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

The typical pay range for this role is:

Minimum - Maximum

$113,600.00 - $189,300.00

Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location.

This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan.
