DESCRIPTION:
In partnership with Sitero leadership, Clinical Operations, Marketing, and Commercial, we are searching for a proven Business Development professional to promote Sitero’s Full Service Clinical Operations and eClinical suite of products throughout the Pharma and Biotech customer base in the Northeast, US. Your time will be spent with Sites, Sponsors, Biotechs, and pharmaceutical companies who support a variety of processes within the Clinical Trial space. This position's sole focus will be to secure net-new logos for Sitero. This is not an account manager or 'farming' position - if you want to play a critical role in our company achieving the setforth 5 and 10 year growth plans, this role is perfect for you!
Job Overview:
- Work within a defined territory (Northeast) to generate and qualify new leads and opportunities
- Utilize our CRM tool and successfully track your outreach, meetings, contracts, and closes throughout the sales cycle
- Attend conferences and represent Sitero's Clinical and eClinical products
- Research and develop a plan for breaking into your assigned territory
- Partner closely with marketing on GTM
- Build trusted relationships with prospective customers, understand their needs and recommend the right Sitero solutions/products
- Proven track record of surpassing or attaining sales goals
Requirements and Qualification:
- 4-year degree from an accredited college or university required
- 4+ years of outside sales experience in clinical research. Clinical Trial knowledge and experience required.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
- Self-starter, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take initiative
- Highly organized, can manage time and multiple priorities effectively
- Team player. Able to take accountability and direction
- Valid driver’s license with clean MVR
- Strong knowledge and experience of sales databases such as Salesforce, pipelining, and cold calling to create new business
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time. May involve significant driving/flying to manage the territory
