The Director, DTC Performance Marketing will oversee performance marketing strategies to enhance customer engagement, brand visibility, and revenue growth for Conair's Ecommerce initiatives.

The Director, DTC Performance Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive performance marketing strategies across key digital channels to drive customer acquisition, retention, and overall revenue growth. This role requires a deep understanding of the DTC landscape, including paid search, social, display, affiliate marketing, and other performance-driven channels.
This person will lead a high-performing team, collaborate closely with other departments, and report to the VP, Performance and Digital Marketing. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, deep performance marketing expertise, and a solid understanding of the Ecommerce landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategy Development & Execution
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive DTC performance marketing strategies that align with the company’s growth goals.
Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies using a variety of digital marketing channels, including Paid Search (Google, Bing), Social Media, Affiliate Marketing, Email, and more.
Build and scale paid media strategies across platforms to ensure sustained growth in acquisition and brand visibility.
Own the DTC performance marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and efficiently across channels to maximize returns.
Campaign Management & Optimization
Oversee the planning, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns to drive measurable performance results.
Implement testing and experimentation strategies to continually optimize media spend, targeting, messaging, and creative to maximize ROI.
Leverage data analytics and performance metrics to identify opportunities for optimization across all digital channels.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
Lead, mentor, and develop a team of performance marketing professionals, ensuring high performance and continuous skill development.
Collaborate closely with other marketing functions (e.g., brand, creative, CRM, product) to ensure alignment on strategies, messaging, and campaigns.
Build strong cross-functional relationships with product, sales, and analytics teams to ensure seamless execution and reporting.
Analytics & Reporting
Regularly monitor and report on the performance of all campaigns, providing actionable insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Utilize advanced analytics tools and dashboards to assess and report on campaign performance, KPIs, and ROI.
Provide detailed reporting and insights to senior leadership, demonstrating the effectiveness of performance marketing initiatives.
Customer-Centric Growth
Drive the identification of new growth opportunities by analyzing customer behavior and segmenting audiences for targeted marketing.
Use data and consumer insights to refine customer journeys and optimize funnel conversion rates.
Focus on both new customer acquisition and increasing customer lifetime value (CLTV).
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
8+ years of experience in performance marketing with a strong background in DTC marketing, particularly in a fast-growth or e-commerce environment.
Proven track record of managing and scaling high-budget, high-performing paid media campaigns across various channels (Google Ads, Facebook/Instagram, TikTok, affiliate, display, etc.).
Experience managing a team of marketers, setting goals, and driving cross-functional collaboration.
Must have both strong strategic capabilities as well as be hands-on and comfortable with tactical execution.
Deep expertise in performance marketing strategies, including paid search, display advertising, affiliate marketing, and social media.
Skills:
Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, SEMrush, or similar.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Tableau, Google Data Studio) and experience with A/B testing and data-driven optimization.
Strong understanding of attribution modeling, ROAS (Return on Ad Spend), customer acquisition cost (CAC), lifetime value (LTV), and other key performance metrics.
