Positions in this function are involved in developing market strategies to support products and drive membership/sales growth. Positions develop strategies and tactical plans to support consumer/member innovation, support new product and program launches, and combat competitive pressures. May analyze economic considerations, develop marketing forecasts, estimate costs, and manage program/project budgets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Owns an end-to-end process
  • Develops functional, market level, and/or site strategy, plans, production and/or organizational priorities
  • Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems outside own team
  • Product, service or process decisions are most likely to impact entire functions and/or customer accounts (internal or external)
  • Provides leadership to and is accountable for the performance of managers and/or senior level professional staff
  • Impact of work is most often at the operational or local business unit or market level

Required Qualifications:

  • 9+ years of people management experience
  • 9+ years of marketing experience within a matrix organization
  • 9+ years of experience in a deadline driven environment
  • 9+ years of proficiency in Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • 9+ years of experience demonstrating organization skills
  • 9+ years of experience managing and prioritizing several deliverables
  • 9+ years of experience in meeting or exceeding sales promotion/marketing targets
  • 9+ years of experience influencing and collaborating with others
  • 9+ years of project management experience
  • Ability to be flexible and work with ambiguity

The salary range for this role is $106,800 to $194,200 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
