Director, Major Accounts
LOCATION
Atlanta, Georgia area (remote option available for the right fit)
QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket or equivalent sales and sales management experience, existing relationships in the automotive national space, strong public speaking and contract negotiation skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel), and a Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to travel up to 75%.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement sales initiatives for major and regional accounts, enhance national relationships, develop new customer opportunities, manage rebate structures, support national fleet sales, and analyze sales data.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Director of Major Accounts at Mighty Distributing System of America will drive revenue growth through strategic account management and new customer development within the automotive parts distribution sector.
- Work in concert with VP of Sales & International VP of Sales on shared strategic accounts
- Increase overall sales with current accounts
- Assist in the development and management of rebate structures
- Attending and supporting accounts with meetings & outings
- Reporting and analysis of Major and Regional sales and categories purchased
- Serve as a relationship director with corporate offices
- Identifying, prospecting and capturing Private Equity & other company’s existing and entering the automotive aftermarket space.
- Development, management and communication of pipeline with leadership
- Working the sales process and understanding presenting the Mighty Program
- Working with the product department to forecast on-boarding new customers
- Working with training department to leverage assets for value ad creation
- Work with the National Fleet Sales Manager to grow multi franchise customer fleet sales
- Identify and develop national car rental fleet accounts
- Sales success in a B2B environment
- Existing relationships in the automotive national space

- 10+ years of experience in the automotive aftermarket or equivalent sales and sales management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Ability to travel up to 75%
