With an exceptional global footprint and a strong reputation for delivering cutting-edge technology, Xirgo is at the forefront of the connected operations space. As a Director, Marketing at Xirgo Technologies, you'll be reporting directly to a senior executive in the growth team (e.g. SVP of Revenue Operations or the Chief Operating Officer) – an invaluable opportunity to collaborate closely with senior leadership, influence strategic decisions, and drive global marketing initiatives that shape the future of the business.

Essential Functions/Major Responsibilities:

Xirgo Technologies is seeking an entrepreneurial, hands-on, results-driven Director of Marketing to lead and execute its global marketing strategy. This key role will oversee all marketing functions, responsible for shaping Xirgo's brand position in a rapidly growing IoT market, driving awareness, demand generation, and sales enablement strategies. This is a highly visible position with a significant impact on the company's growth trajectory, offering an opportunity to shape Xirgo’s brand and marketing efforts from the ground up.

We are looking for a strategic marketer who thrives in fast-paced environments and is not afraid to roll up their sleeves. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with an entrepreneurial mindset, a bias for action, a strong sense of urgency, and a track record of delivering impactful results in global B2B marketing. Example initiatives include leading product launches involving AI and Edge technology, developing our international marketing plan, and creating new programs ranging from fast-paced SMB campaigns to strategic enterprise customer engagements.

Skills and Abilities

  • Global Marketing Leadership: Lead the development and execution of Xirgo's global marketing strategy, driving initiatives that align with the company’s business goals, elevate brand awareness, and accelerate customer acquisition and retention.
  • Brand Strategy: Enhance, communicate, and expand Xirgo’s global brand positioning, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels and initiatives. Establish Xirgo as a market leader in the IoT space, particularly in the connected fleet and operations sectors.
  • Content Marketing and Social Media: Oversee the production of content, such as blogs, white papers, videos, and case studies, repurposing and republishing content to maximize its value. Measure and analyze the performance of content campaigns, and adjust strategies to improve ROI and engagement. Research competitor content and keywords to identify gaps and opportunities. Design, build, and maintain Xirgo’s social media presence. Develop content for landing pages and other company pages. Create email marketing content and manage campaigns. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and provide recommendations for adopting new tools.
  • Product Marketing & Sales Enablement: Work closely with Product and Sales teams to develop clear buyer and user personas, product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Channel Marketing: Develop and execute compelling and collaborative marketing strategies, campaigns, and promotional materials to drive sales and increase market share for Xirgo offerings through channel partners. Train and enable channel partners on product features, benefits, and competitive positioning.
  • Demand Generation: Develop and execute integrated demand generation campaigns to drive qualified leads across channel and direct enterprise markets. Utilize digital channels, content marketing, email campaigns, and social media to build a high-quality pipeline.
  • Customer Marketing: Develop and implement programs that engage and retain Xirgo's customer base. Focus on customer advocacy, lifecycle marketing, and creating an engaging customer experience that drives long-term relationships.
  • Event & Field Marketing: Oversee the development of a targeted event strategy, executing high-impact field marketing activities and industry events that strengthen Xirgo’s brand presence and drive lead generation.
  • Integrated Campaigns: Design and lead full-funnel campaigns that drive customer engagement, acquisition, and revenue. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Operations, to execute marketing initiatives that resonate with target audiences.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to measure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns. Optimize efforts based on data, ensuring programs deliver tangible results and meet business KPIs.
  • Team Development & Leadership: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability while ensuring alignment with broader organizational goals.
  • Budget & Resource Management: Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring resources are allocated strategically and efficiently to maximize ROI across all marketing initiatives and balance in-house versus outside spend.
