QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred, 10+ years of marketing experience with 5+ years in eCommerce, proven digital marketing expertise, strong leadership and communication skills, and proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads).

SHORT DESCRIPTION
Seeking a Director of Marketing to drive TEquipment's marketing strategy, focusing on customer acquisition, brand positioning, and optimizing digital marketing efforts.
Summary of Position/Purpose:
TestEquity is looking for a Director of Marketing to oversee one of our brands, TEquipment. This role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the TEquipment marketing strategy, including digital advertising, Amazon/ebay commerce, SEO, product content, email and social media. As a player-coach, you will work alongside a small team of marketers dedicated to just the TEquipment division. You will have a key role in shaping our brand presence, optimizing conversion rates, and driving customer acquisition and retention.
Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning & Execution:
- Develop, implement, and refine a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives and KPIs.
- Drive brand positioning, customer acquisition, and retention initiatives to expand our online presence.
- Analyze market trends, competitor strategies, and customer insights to inform and adjust marketing strategies.
Digital Marketing:
- Oversee and actively contribute to digital marketing campaigns, including paid search, SEO, email marketing and more.
- Drive the TEquipment marketplace strategy, focusing heavily on revenue and margin.
- Manage, monitor and optimize all product feeds (through Channable).
Content & Social Media Management:
- Contribute to content development strategy across the website, emails and social media
- Participate in managing and enhancing the already robust TEquipment supplier co-op program.
- Influence the development and execution of multi-channel supplier campaigns via content marketing, paid search, email and more.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance, leveraging data to make strategic adjustments and optimize marketing effectiveness.
- Prepare regular reports to communicate results and insights with key stakeholders, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and manage a small team of marketers, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, product content, pricing, commercial insights and customer support, to align marketing strategies with overall business goals.
- Facilitate skills development within the team, ensuring team members are well-equipped to achieve their goals and contribute to company success.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or related field is preferred
- 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in an eCommerce environment.
- Proven track record in digital marketing, with hands-on experience in SEO, paid search, marketplace (Amazon & eBay) management
- Demonstrated ability to analyze marketing data, derive insights, and optimize strategies accordingly.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to both coach and directly contribute to projects.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with marketing tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Channable or similar).
