PAY RANGE: $156,900.00 - $175,000.00 ANNUALLY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Marketing Analytics Director will provide insights to inform and optimize data-driven marketing strategies. This director will combine leadership, strategic thinking, performance insights and advanced analytics to maximize marketing ROI and guide data-informed decision-making. The leader will manage a team of talented marketing analysts and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and better understand member needs and wants.
TASKS, DUTIES, FUNCTIONS:
1. Lead a team of marketing analysts. Foster a collaborative team culture, and make sure everyone has the support they need to thrive.
2. Own and present the marketing analytics roadmap to senior leadership, ensuring that efforts align with company goals.
3. Interpret complex data sets and leverage the data to shape the marketing strategy and optimize the purchasing journey and campaign performance.
4. Deliver campaign findings for targeted marketing programs to assist with optimization and real-time decision making and prioritization of initiatives based on those findings.
5. Collaborate closely with other departments to create a full-funnel analytics view and reporting from acquisition through to membership and loyalty.
6. Use segmentation and work with teams to leverage predictive modeling to influence personalized marketing strategies that boost engagement, retention, and loyalty.
7. Deeply understand measurement techniques such as multivariate testing, brand and advertisement tracking, marketing return on investment (MORI), impact across multiple cross-channel marketing activities, and optimization of marketing investment allocation.
8. Maintain a thorough understanding of state and federal laws and regulations related to credit union compliance including bank secrecy and anti-money laundering laws.
9. Performs other duties as needed by management.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASK:
1. Effective oral and written communication skills required to varying levels of analytical daily tasks.
2. Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully operate standard office equipment such as a personal computer, VOIP telephone, printers, scanners, etc.
ORGANIZATIONAL CONTACTS & RELATIONSHIPS:
1. INTERNAL: All levels of staff.
2. EXTERNAL: Vendors, management, other financial institutions, and other contact centers.

2. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of 10 or more years in an analytics role with more than 7 years of experience leading a team.
3. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- Experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Data Cloud, Tableau, Power BI
- Experience with SQL, SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, R or other data analytics tools a plus.
- Experience with promotional, targeted and marketing data.
- Leadership skills to manage and work with cross-functional business partners and team.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills are essential, as this position will have exposure to various management levels across the organization. Ability to adapt to an environment that is in a growth mode and pivot as needed to meet goals and as priorities shift.
