Lead marketing strategy and growth initiatives at SCANA Energy to enhance customer acquisition, retention, and brand reputation in the Georgia market, while evolving team capabilities and driving organizational success.

The Director, Marketing Strategy & Growth is accountable for:
Developing and executing full-funnel marketing and sales strategies that drive profitable customer acquisition and retention
Enhancing brand awareness and reputation
Driving product adoption and expansion
Evolving team and organizational capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development: Create and implement a data-driven marketing strategy to achieve profitable customer acquisition, engagement, and retention goals, including identifying target audiences and key performance indicators (KPIs). Collaborate with sales leaders to support the development and implementation of inbound and outbound phone selling strategies
Capability Building and Team Leadership: Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to team members while fostering a culture that promotes trust and belonging, continuous learning and results orientation.
Campaign Management: In partnership with external agency partners, design and manage marketing and sales campaigns across multiple channels like direct mail, paid advertising, organic search, social media, content marketing, email marketing, phone-based sales, and affiliate programs, constantly optimizing for performance.
Full-Funnel and Cross-Channel Integration: Drive demand and inbound interest and improve conversion by maximizing content, web traffic, aligning offline and online tactics, and increasing conversion to sales. Partner with web product team to deliver enhancements and improvements that support profitable growth.
Brand Health & Reputation Management: Develop and govern a relevant and differentiated brand strategy and, in partnership with the customer experience leader, drive internal alignment and translation of brand strategy into customer touchpoints. Oversee brand partnerships, PR, social impact, and reputation efforts.
Product Adoption and Expansion: In partnership with product and sales leaders, monitor adoption of new products. Embed product marketing strategies into GTM programs by defining value props, creating impactful messaging and understanding audiences. Drive cross-functional alignment and coordination of GTM.
Cross Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product, sales, customer care and other teams to align efforts with overall business goals, achieve results through others, and ensure a seamless customer experience across touchpoints.
Data Analysis and Insights: Utilize data to track and measure the effectiveness of the team’s work, building and socializing results and related insights and narratives. Continuously monitor performance and optimize where necessary. Partner with the sales optimization team to implement best practices in data management and analytics.
Understand the Market: Conduct market research and competitive analysis in order to develop targeted marketing campaigns, offers, acquisition and retention tactics and identify opportunities for product expansion.

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sales and marketing campaigns, including phone-based selling strategies, that drive customer acquisition, revenue growth and support product expansion.
Strong knowledge of performance marketing and digital strategies, including ecommerce, search, programmatic and beyond, data and audience strategies, social, and content marketing.
Analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
Passion for driving outcomes and belief that more is possible. Independent and able to operate within ambiguity. High curiosity- seeks new ways and challenges norms.
Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Proven operational discipline.
Minimum Education and Experience:
Senior-level marketing experience with 10 years in marketing leadership roles.
Understanding of the energy or other highly regulated industries.
Experience and success working in a complex, matrixed organization.

Salary Range:
$144,080.00 - $230,530.00- This range reflects base pay only. Incentive earnings, like commissions or bonuses, are not included.
