Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Brand Marketing to lead and oversee all national marketing initiatives for our franchise brands. This strategic role involves developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness, drive customer acquisition, and ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels. The Director of Brand Marketing will work closely with the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to bring the strategic vision to life, collaborate with the Director of Franchise Marketing to ensure an integrated marketing strategy at the national level is reflected and supported at the studio level, and manage a diverse array of marketing channels and campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement national marketing strategies that align with the overall business objectives and drive brand growth across franchise locations.
- Brand Management: Ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning across all marketing materials and platforms, maintaining brand integrity and enhancing brand equity.
- Collaboration with CMO: Work closely with the CMO to bring the company's strategic vision to life, ensuring that marketing initiatives are aligned with broader business goals and objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Director of Franchise Marketing to ensure that the integrated marketing strategy at the national level is reflected and supported at the studio level, enabling franchisees to implement and execute marketing campaigns effectively.
- Campaign Development: Lead the creation and execution of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print, experiential marketing, TV, and PR, to engage target audiences and drive franchisee success.
- Media Management: Oversee the management of direct buys and paid media across various channels, including television, podcasts, radio, programmatic, influencer partnerships, ambassador programs, retention marketing, and product placement.
- Brand Measurement: Oversee all aspects of brand measurement, including brand equity tracking, NPS score measurement, developing and implementing brand measurement plans, and conducting consumer segmentation to ensure data-driven decision making for marketing strategies.
- Budget Management: Support management and overseeing the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape, utilizing insights to inform marketing strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of marketing professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment. Oversee the Content Manager to ensure content development aligns with brand objectives.
PR & Activations: Oversee public relations and activations, ensuring consistent messaging and positive brand exposure through strategic media placements and events.

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in brand marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role overseeing national marketing for franchise brands.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies that drive brand growth and franchisee performance.
- Strong understanding of franchise business models and the unique marketing needs of franchise organizations.
- Expertise in managing a wide range of marketing channels, including television, experiential marketing, podcasts, radio, programmatic, retention marketing, ambassador programs, influencers, product placement, and PR & activations.
- In-depth experience in brand measurement, including brand equity tracking, NPS score measurement, consumer segmentation, and building brand measurement plans.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including social media, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and analytics platforms.
- Ability to analyze data and market trends to inform strategic decision-making.
