Seeking a results-driven Director of Marketing to develop strategies that drive sales and brand awareness across multiple dealership locations at Easterns Automotive Group.

Easterns Automotive Group is looking for a highly skilled and results-driven Director of Marketing to join our esteemed team. As a key player in our operations, you will develop and execute marketing strategies that drive sales and promote brand awareness across multiple dealership locations. You will collaborate closely with various departments to ensure that marketing initiatives are aligned with company objectives and tailored to meet the needs of each location.

5-7 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the automotive industry or multi-dealership group. Proven experience with OEM programs and digital marketing is a plus.

Responsibilities:

As the Director of Marketing, you will:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the organization’s sales objectives and brand goals across multiple dealership locations. Collaborate with dealership General Managers to tailor marketing campaigns to individual location needs.
  • OEM Program Management: Oversee the implementation of manufacturer-specific (OEM) advertising and marketing programs, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines and co-op advertising requirements. Coordinate with OEM representatives to leverage promotional opportunities and secure reimbursement for qualified campaigns.
  • Pricing and Inventory Marketing: Analyze and manage new vehicle pricing strategies based on OEM rules, market conditions, and competitor trends. Collaborate with sales and finance teams to adjust marketing efforts in response to inventory and pricing changes.
  • Digital and Traditional Marketing: Direct digital advertising campaigns, including SEM, SEO, display, and social media, to generate leads and drive traffic to dealerships. Manage traditional marketing efforts such as radio, TV, print, and out-of-home advertising.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals, ensuring alignment with company goals. Manage relationships with external marketing vendors, agencies, and contractors.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Monitor marketing campaign performance metrics, including lead generation, ROI, and sales attribution. Provide regular reporting to executive leadership on marketing effectiveness.
  • Event and Community Engagement: Plan and oversee dealership events, sponsorships, and community engagement initiatives to build brand reputation and loyalty.
  • Compliance and Brand Standards: Ensure all marketing efforts comply with OEM standards, advertising regulations, and legal requirements.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Bring a minimum of 5-7 years of marketing experience, preferably within the automotive industry or a multi-dealership group.
  • Have proven experience working with OEM marketing programs, co-op advertising, and new vehicle pricing rules.
  • Possess strong understanding of automotive industry trends, digital marketing platforms, and CRM systems.
  • Exhibit exceptional leadership and communication skills to manage cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate an analytical mindset with proficiency in tools like Google Analytics, Tableau, or other data visualization platforms.
  • Be familiar with Dealer Management Systems (DMS), inventory management software, and pricing tools.
  • Have knowledge of OEM marketing compliance requirements and the ability to adapt to changes in program guidelines.
  • Be able to travel to dealership locations and attend industry events as needed.
  • Show strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
