Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Business Development to lead our growth initiatives and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in business development, customer relationship management, and strategic planning. This role requires a dynamic leader who can effectively negotiate partnerships, drive sales, and manage projects to achieve organizational goals.
Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to increase market share and revenue.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and trends that align with the company’s objectives.
- Lead negotiations for contracts and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms that benefit the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development efforts with marketing, sales, and product development initiatives.
- Utilize software tools such as Salesforce for tracking leads, managing customer relationships, and reporting on business development activities.
- Oversee project management efforts related to new business initiatives, ensuring timely execution and delivery of results.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning efforts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development or a related field, with a track record of successfully driving growth initiatives.
- Strong skills in customer relationship management, demonstrating the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Expertise in strategic planning with a focus on market analysis and sales strategies.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively.
- Familiarity with software tools, particularly Salesforce, for managing customer interactions and data analysis.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to lead teams towards achieving common goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field is preferred; advanced degrees are a plus.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
