Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; master's degree in communications preferred. 10+ years in public relations and communications, healthcare industry experience preferred, strong writing and analytical skills, and proficiency in relevant software.

Seek a Director of Communications to lead internal and external communications strategy at ZoomCare, ensuring alignment with the company's mission and values while enhancing brand visibility.
ZoomCare is seeking a Director of Communications to join our team! The Director of Communications is responsible for the strategy and execution of ZoomCare’s internal and external communications. The Director will work closely with company leaders across all functions. The director shapes messaging and positioning, striving for consistency, clarity, and timeliness in their work. They help connect the details of corporate initiatives and decisions to the company's mission and values for employees.

- Develop and execute strategic communications plans and measure their success.
- Provide strategic counsel to the executive team and ZoomCare leadership on communications matters.
- Collaborate with ZoomCare marketing and patient experience teams to integrate earned media with social media, content marketing, and search engine optimization (SEO), especially link-building.
- Create and implement media relations strategies that include story ideas and outlet targets, delivering coverage that drives business outcomes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with relevant journalists.
- Respond to journaling inquiries and manage stories in progress.
- Set goals, track, and report on communications results.
- Write and edit content for employee intranet, email, newsletters, and other internal communications.
- Maintain the company’s communications processes and protocols.
- Coordinate with the parent company, PeaceHealth, as needed.
- Support the brand marketing team with social media strategic counsel and content development as needed.
- Manage and maintain the company’s incident and crisis response team and program.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, master’s degree in communications or related field, preferred.
- Experience driving cultural transformation and change in a company with 200+ employees.
- Experience managing sensitive information and maintaining confidentiality.
- Healthcare industry experience, preferred.
- 10+ years of public relations and communications.
- 10+ years of technical and/or creative writing.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong character demonstrating a high degree of flexibility and resilience.
- Proficient in Adobe, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Slack or related software and an ability to quickly learn new technology systems.
- Experience with a content management system is strongly preferred.
COMPENSATION PACKAGE

- Salary Range: $155,000 - 165,000 dependent on experience
Other Compensation: May be eligible for other compensation such as bonuses
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Prolonged periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
- Project timelines and work volume / deadlines may require more than your scheduled hours per week and/or work outside of regular business hours.
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.
- Ability to adjust focus between close and distance vision.
