The Community Relations Director is responsible for marketing and lease-up of an independent living community for adults with special needs, focusing on relationship-building, engagement, and achieving census goals.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Community Relations Director is responsible for marketing and lease-up of Daymark Living, an independent living community for adults with special needs. This role combines leadership in marketing and sales with a commitment to fostering relationships and driving engagement to the community.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Develop and implement all marketing and leasing initiatives that deliver awareness, engagement, and qualified leasing prospects.
- Create and maintain clear metrics to track leasing activities and identify successful marketing campaigns. The qualified Community Relations Director will be responsible for promoting the community through on-site meetings, tours and events, telephone follow-up, community outreach to referral groups and influencers and related sales functions with the primary goal of generating qualified move-ins that meet or exceed census goals.
- Oversee and assist with on campus leasing events and admissions process
- Manage the CRM, marketing automation, sales pipeline, and reporting.
- Identify gaps in processes and procedures and assist in the development of new strategies that actively address those gaps and improve efficiency and communication between departments and enhance the customer experience
- Oversee planning and execution of all marketing and customer appreciation events
- Supervise and lead leasing and outreach efforts.
- Facilitate and assist Resident Life with community engagements and activities for the residents, as needed on a regular basis.
- Manage the brainstorming, creation and implementation of content, marketing materials and collateral with 3 party marketing teams.
- Oversee multi-channel lead acquisition strategies, including search, social, paid, retargeting, and email marketing.
- Responsible for development and oversight of social media channels and social media campaign activities.
- Monitor marketing spend and develop budget needs for marketing initiatives.
- Manage third party vendor and agency relationships
- Oversee the building and maintenance of community and referral partnerships.
- Design and manage sales and inventory of Daymark’s online swag shop.
Educational Requirements and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree from accredited university. Preference for training and experience in sales, customer service or hospitality.
- Proficient with social media use and strategies is preferred.
- The ideal candidate will have proven track record in communities, face-to-face selling and possess strong relationship-building skills as well as excellent telephone skills, lead management and selling/closing techniques tailored to meet the needs of our market as required skills for this position.
- The ideal candidate will be a high energy, persistent self-starter with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- The ideal candidate will have at least five years of high-end commissioned sales and/or successful senior living or independent living experience.
- The ability to conduct self in a businesslike manner and to effectively deal with residents, guests and staff.
- Must express or demonstrate an interest in working with a special needs population.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
