As the Director of Demand Generation at Tithe.ly, lead growth strategies and oversee marketing initiatives to enhance user acquisition and retention, while ensuring alignment with overall brand strategy.

### Director of Demand Generation
As the Director of Demand Generation, you will lead Tithe.ly’s growth strategy and execution across user acquisition, activation, and upsell to expand our reach and impac of serving churches. You and your Demand Generation team will use data-driven strategies to measure and manage our digital ad agency, run lifecycle marketing campaigns, and convert website visitors to trials.
The Director of Demand Generation will also work in close collaboration with the Director of Corporate Marketing to ensure alignment between growth initiatives and brand strategy. Together, you will coordinate efforts across campaigns, content, and analytics to drive user acquisition, engagement, and retention while maintaining consistency in Tithely’s overall marketing approach.
### Primary Responsibilities of the Role
Top of Funnel Demand Strategy
- Develop and Implement Growth Strategies: Define and execute growth initiatives that align with Tithe.ly’s mission, driving user acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
- Manage Digital Advertising Agency: Deliver results from paid advertising by selecting, managing, and holding accountable our digital advertising agency.
- Campaign Execution: Oversee and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging SEO, paid digital advertising, social, inbound marketing, and email to drive lead generation.
- Drive Inbound Demand: Increase organic traffic and qualified leads through SEO optimization, website enhancements, and content (in partnership with Content Marketing).
- Forecast and Budget: Create and manage demand generation budgets and forecasts.
Conversion Funnel and Website Optimization
- Conversion Optimization: Boost conversion rates at every stage, from search results to demo requests, by creating engaging content and optimizing the user experience.
- Test & Learn Mindset and Program: Continually test new channels and run AB tests to improve efficiency of current channels.
Organizational Development and Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead a High-Performing Team: Hire, guide, and mentor a team of marketing professionals, establishing clear goals and KPIs that reflect the company’s objectives.
- Collaborate with the Sales team and Customer Experience teams to ensure that demand-generation efforts are aligned with company objectives and there is a shared understanding of target accounts and personas.
Upsell and Cross-sell of Existing Customers
- Oversee Lifecycle Marketing: Drive new customer acquisition and expansion from email marketing, sales follow-up sequences, and maintenance of distribution lists.
- Partner with Growth team to design and execute in-app cross-sell campaigns.
- Run online and offline campaigns to generate signups of other Tithe.ly products and brands.
Reporting and Analytics
- Work with Marketing Operations to establish weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting cadences on KPIs and integrated campaigns, and support lead nurturing processes and lead scoring models in collaboration with sales to ensure a customer-centric experience for leads.
- Analyze and Report on Campaign Results: Fully own the reporting and attribution of all your initiatives, specifically including site traffic, conversion rates, free trial starts, new customers, and expansion customers so that you can attribute ROI to each campaign.
- Implement and improve multi-touch attribution models to better understand and optimize the customer journey and campaign ROI.

### Technical Qualifications
#### Required:
- Proven experience in demand generation with a focus on user acquisition, activation, and cross-selling revenue.
- Have scaled a demand generation program and successfully proven the business case to invest more.
- Quantifiable results from paid digital advertising and managing a digital agency.
- Expertise in digital marketing channels, including SEO, social, email marketing, and website optimization.
- Familiarity with marketing automation platforms (e.g. Hubspot), CRM systems, and lead nurturing.
- A strategic mindset coupled with the ability to execute at a tactical level.
- Competence in advertising on platforms from Google (Adwords, YouTube, PMax), Meta (Facebook, Instagram), display networks, Bing, software reviews (G2, Capterra), etc.
- Strong leadership experience, including hiring and managing small teams.
#### Preferred:
- Experience or certification in Hubspot marketing tools
- 5-7 years experience of demand generation in a product-led growth SaaS company
- Proficiency with popular content management systems
- 2 years leading a team
#### Office Requirements:
- We are a fully distributed team (100% remote) with travel required 2-4 times per year.
- A stable work environment with a designated workspace and access to high-speed internet. We will provide all the necessary equipment.
- US-based and legally able to work full-time in the U.S. Sponsorships are not available.

#### This is a full time, exempt positon with an expected starting annual salary of $162,000-$204,000
