SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Director of Development and Marketing at Access Gallery will lead fundraising, donor engagement, and marketing initiatives to support individuals with disabilities and drive revenue goals for the organization.

This position is for Access Gallery, an affiliate of Easterseals Colorado, and is an inclusive non-profit organization that engages the community by opening doors to creative, educational, and economic opportunities for people with disabilities to access, experience, and benefit from the arts.
Summary
The Director of Development and Marketing is part of the leadership team at Access Gallery responsible for overall development and marketing aspects of the organization. Primarily focused on individual donor cultivation, corporate partnerships, membership program, art sales and coordinating all aspects of our communications and marketing efforts.
Reporting to the Executive Director of Access Gallery, the Director of Development and Marketing will support Access Gallery’s mission by ensuring donors, patrons, and supporters are engaged and aware of Access Gallery’s impact throughout the year and driving annual revenue goals and developing overall strategies for sales of artwork to individuals, businesses and other entities.
Core Responsibilities:
Marketing (40%)
- Creates, schedules, and manages overall marketing and telling the story of Access Gallery through various platforms and avenues.
- Drafts, designs, and distributes Access Gallery’s bi- weekly email newsletter and dedicated fundraising emails, highlighting upcoming events and opportunities.
- Manages and updates website with accurate and engaging content, including homepage features, donor and sponsor recognition, venue information and organizational updates.
- Works with the Executive Director to develop strategies and goals; ensure consistency in branding, voice, and messaging across all channels; evaluate performance of campaigns/initiatives and adjust as needed.
Development (40%)
- Maintains and updates the donor database (Little Green Light), tracking sales and contributions, contacts, and engagement, and collaborating with staff to ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation for contributed revenue.
- Assists in crafting and deploying donor communications, including campaigns and solicitations, gift receipts, thank you letters, event invitations, and impact reports.
- Works with the Executive Director on development collateral, campaigns, prospect research, and planning to meet annual fundraising goals and grow donor base over time.
- Develops strategies to increase corporate partnerships and contributions.
- Plans and executes supporter recognition and engagement efforts, including special events and activations, greeting donors and members, and maintaining up to date online and onsite donor recognition.
- Oversees special events collaborating with the entire team to execute 2 inhouse events each year
Sales Support (20%)
- Monitors and manages individual and corporate sales records, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Assists with departmental budget management for marketing and development activities.
- Organizes photo/video content (received from outside vendors and video team) for marketing, development, and reporting needs.
Additional Duties and Expectations:
As a member of the Leadership team, the Director of Development and Marketing will contribute to regular staff and production meetings, identify opportunities, and lead development and communication strategies. As a growing non-profit organization and dynamic progressive art studio, Access Gallery expects flexibility and accountability from all team members. Nights and weekends will be required at times, particularly first and third Fridays of the month. Additional duties may be assigned based on operational needs. Access Gallery supports hybrid/flexible work schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fundraising within the nonprofit sector, preferably in disability services or related fields.
- Strong public relations skills with a track record of successful donor engagement.
- Familiarity with digital marketing strategies is a plus.
- Excellent research skills for identifying funding opportunities.
- Demonstrated experience in event planning and execution.
- Ability to manage volunteers effectively to support organizational goals.

Pay: $59,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
