Summary:
The Director of Digital Engagement and Optimization will lead a team responsible for optimizing and executing digital marketing initiatives across email, SMS, push notifications, and web/app platforms. This role focuses on enhancing digital engagement, driving traffic, and increasing revenue through data-driven strategies and personalized communication. Reporting directly to the Vice President of eCommerce and Digital Product, the Director will oversee key digital channels, including email marketing, search engine marketing, and affiliate programs, while also collaborating on content creation for new website pages. This is a full-time, in-office position, requiring attendance five days a week at Hard Rock Stadium.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader with expertise in multi-channel digital marketing, audience segmentation, and performance analysis, with a proven ability to lead teams and deliver measurable results.

Responsibilities:
- Performance Monitoring & Growth
- Monitor and analyze digital channel performance, generating reports to identify growth opportunities and areas for optimization.
- Track KPIs, including open rates, click-through rates, traffic, conversions, and customer acquisition costs, to inform strategic adjustments.
- Explore emerging communication channels and technologies to expand digital engagement capabilities.
- Channel Optimization
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize email, SMS, and push notifications, delivering personalized and impactful messages that engage fans and maximize conversions.
- Oversee the development and implementation of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring alignment across web, apps, and devices.
- Expand and optimize the affiliate marketing program, identifying new opportunities for partnerships and traffic growth.
- Digital Campaigns & Innovation
- Partner with internal stakeholders to develop integrated campaigns that drive ticket sales, fan engagement, and revenue growth.
- Lead A/B testing and other experimentation methods to refine digital messaging and optimize campaign performance.
- Drive innovative solutions for multi-channel communication, staying ahead of market trends and fan preferences.
- Content Collaboration
- Collaborate with internal teams on the creation and optimization of new website pages, ensuring they enhance user experience and support organizational goals.
- Work with the in-house SEO team member to optimize all web content for discoverability and search performance.
- Ensure digital assets are cohesive and aligned with brand standards across all touchpoints.
- SEO & SEM Strategy
- Oversee SEO initiatives handled by the in-house team member, ensuring they align with the broader digital strategy and drive search performance improvements.
- Develop and execute SEM strategies across Google, Bing, and paid social channels, continuously refining campaigns to maximize ROI.
- Utilize data-driven insights to optimize search engine and paid campaign performance.
- Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor a team, including an in-house SEO resource, email marketers, and digital specialists, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.
- Provide strategic direction and coaching to the team to meet organizational goals and deliver measurable results.
- Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the team works effectively across all digital engagement channels.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Communications, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a proven track record in optimizing multi-channel strategies, email marketing, and campaign performance.
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading and managing teams, with demonstrated ability to inspire, mentor, and deliver results through others.
- Proficiency in HubSpot is required, with hands-on experience in campaign management, automation, and analytics.
- Strong analytical mindset, with expertise in leveraging data to refine strategies and demonstrate measurable results.
- Expertise in affiliate marketing, email personalization, segmentation, and multi-device content optimization.
- Familiarity with UX/UI principles and best practices for optimizing websites and apps to enhance user experience and drive conversions.
- Exceptional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with stakeholders across marketing, creative, and technical teams.
