We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and creative Director of Digital Marketing to lead and elevate our digital marketing efforts. This is a high-impact role that will drive the development and execution of our digital strategy, amplify our brand presence, and ultimately contribute to our growth in the competitive fitness landscape.
Job Overview:
The Director of Digital Marketing will oversee and manage the company's digital marketing strategies, ensuring that all campaigns are aligned with our business goals and brand identity. This role will be responsible for developing innovative, results-oriented campaigns that engage our target audience and drive measurable growth across key digital channels, including social media, paid search, email marketing, SEO/SEM, and the company’s website.
You will work closely with cross-functional teams—such as Sales, Operations and Ownership —and collaborate with external partners to deliver a cohesive and compelling digital presence. Your efforts will directly impact brand awareness, lead generation, customer retention, and sales conversion.
Key Responsibilities:
Digital Marketing Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive digital marketing strategy to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and retention across all digital channels (website, social media, email, paid media, SEO/SEM).
- Analyze industry trends, audience insights, and competitor activity to continuously improve marketing performance and identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to define digital KPIs, goals, and metrics that support broader business objectives.
Campaign Management & Optimization:
- Oversee the execution of high-performing digital campaigns, including paid advertising (Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok), email marketing, content marketing, and more.
- Monitor and optimize campaigns for maximum ROI, adjusting tactics and creative as needed based on performance data.
- Ensure all campaigns are on-brand, align with our overall marketing strategy, and deliver engaging experiences for customers across digital touchpoints.
Content & Creative Direction:
- Work closely with the content and creative teams to produce high-quality assets (ad copy, graphics, videos) for digital campaigns.
- Ensure messaging is consistent across all platforms and resonates with our fitness-oriented target audience.
- Lead the development of engaging content strategies for social media, blogs, newsletters, and other digital channels.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
- Regularly analyze campaign performance data, website analytics, customer insights, and industry benchmarks to optimize digital marketing efforts.
- Generate regular reports for senior management that provide insights on campaign performance, customer behavior, and growth opportunities.
Collaboration & Cross-Functional Alignment:
- Partner with the product, sales, and customer service teams to align digital marketing strategies with product launches, promotions, and customer feedback.
- Lead digital initiatives for new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and event-driven activations.
- Work with external agencies and partners to leverage additional resources and expertise as needed.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably within the fitness, wellness, or consumer products industry.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot) is a plus.
- Proven Success: Track record of building and scaling successful digital marketing campaigns that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth.
- Skills & Expertise:
- Strong expertise in digital marketing channels, including paid media (Google Ads, Facebook Ads), SEO/SEM, content marketing, and email marketing.
- Proficiency with digital marketing tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hootsuite, email platforms, etc.) and CRM systems.
- Experience with website optimization (A/B testing, user experience design, conversion rate optimization).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
- Passion for fitness and wellness, with a strong understanding of the industry’s digital landscape and trends.
