We are looking for a highly creative, organized, and motivated Director of Growth with experience to join our team, get involved and help us grow our brand presence. Job Summary:
The Director of Growth will be responsible for developing and executing our marketing strategy, shaping our brand presence, driving growth, and steering our marketing team (you may be the one building that team and eventually managing the staff). This role involves creating high-impact social campaigns, managing all aspects of marketing operations, and closely collaborating with our leadership team to document our progress and vision. You’ll oversee the creation of high-quality content, manage digital marketing efforts, and engage with our audience to build a strong community around our brand. Additionally, you’ll be hands-on in capturing the essence of our company through reality/docu-style content, providing a unique window into the workings of our leadership and the dynamics of our business operations. As a key player in our start-up, you’ll wear multiple hats, embracing the fast-paced, all-hands-on-deck environment that offers immense opportunities to learn, grow, and challenge yourself. The ideal candidate will be highly knowledgeable about the latest digital and mobile technologies and trends, experienced with various marketing platforms (including social media channels like IG, TikTok, LinkedIn), and possess exceptional communication skills. Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with our business goals.
Drive brand positioning, market differentiation, and value proposition.
Act as a key member of the executive team, contributing to overall company strategy and decision-making.
2. Team Building and Management:
Build and lead a high-performing marketing team from the ground up.
Foster a culture of creativity, innovation, and continuous learning within the marketing team.
3. Market Research and Insights:
Conduct market research to understand customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
Translate insights into actionable strategies and tactics.
4. Growth Marketing:
Develop and implement growth marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth.
Utilize data-driven approaches to optimize marketing campaigns and ROI.
5. Brand Development:
Establish and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity across all channels.
Create compelling brand stories and content that resonate with our target audience.
6. Digital Marketing:
Oversee all digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content marketing.
Leverage digital tools and platforms to maximize reach and engagement.
7. Partnerships and Collaborations:
Identify and establish strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand our reach and enhance our brand.
8. Budget Management:
Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications
1. Experience:
Proven experience in a marketing role, preferably as a CMO or Head of Marketing in a start-up or high-growth environment with ambiguity.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies that drive growth.
2. Skills:
Strong leadership and team-building skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in digital marketing, data analytics, and marketing automation tools.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and dynamic environment.
3. Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.

Qualifications:

Experience and comfort interacting with global-minded passionate people from all different backgrounds, religions, experiences, perspectives.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or if you don’t have this, just let us know that you are highly experienced, with examples of your work)
Excellent knowledge of IG, Tiktok, Youtube, with some experience or familiarity with Facebook, X/Twitter, Threads LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+, and other social media best practices.
Experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Insights, Google Analytics) is a plus, but not required as long as you are willing to learn it!
Strong copywriting and content creation skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. (if you struggle with spelling, you are good at catching mistakes and using auto-correct to fix them!)
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Creativity and problem-solving aptitude.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Must be able to focus for extended periods of time
Must have internet connection and a laptop to work from
Ability to work some long days.
Must be able to sit comfortably at a desk during working hours.
Must be able to look at screens for long hours, and type on a computer without discomfort
