QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years of marketing experience with a focus on sports and streaming, proven track record in managing digital brand strategies, strong creative skills, expertise in owned media channels, and exceptional leadership and communication abilities.

THE ROLE:
At FloSports, we’re on an exciting journey to unify our portfolio of 20+ sports brands under one powerful, cohesive identity — One Flo. As we transition from a "house of brands" into a "branded house," our goal is to achieve consistency across all customer touchpoints, delivering a connected look and feel that strengthens our presence in the sports streaming industry. We are seeking a Director of In-House Media to help bring this transformation to life, and help us execute a cohesive, unified brand strategy across our media portfolio while honoring the distinct character of each sport we represent.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with other marketers, Vertical GMs, Broadcast, Production, and Content teams, leveraging their support to bring our brand vision to life across all of our media channels.
This role is based in Austin,TX. Due to the cross-functional nature and high visibility of this role, onsite presence will be required 3 - 5 days per week.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
In-House Media Management: You will oversee the creation of a cohesive look and feel for our brand and customer experiences across in-house media and traditional channels. This includes onsite display and internal ad units, broadcast and in-stream placements, email newsletters, and social media handles.
Sports/Fan Marketing: You will leverage your deep understanding of sports, sports marketing, and sports content to create culturally relevant assets that tap into fandom and help build communities around our sports verticals.
Cross-Vertical Consumption: Increase viewership across multiple sports categories and improve customers' perceived value of their subscription.
Share of Voice Agreements: You will negotiate and streamline share-of-voice agreements for placements managed by non-Marketing teams, including homepages on Flo sites, Flo-owned and operated external sites, and partner landing pages.
Collaboration: You will work closely with Product Marketing, Production, and Content teams to ensure brand consistency and integration across all customer touchpoints, including new product experiences, new media, and new partnerships.
Performance Tracking: You will develop KPIs to measure the effectiveness of our media channels and placements, using data-driven insights to continuously optimize performance and impact.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 10+ years of marketing and onsite merchandising experience with a blend of experience across sports and streaming businesses.
Proven track record of managing digital brand strategies in sports marketing, including large-scale campaigns, sponsorships, and fan engagement initiatives that run across multiple channels.
Strong creative acumen and ability to translate brand vision into high-quality content and campaigns.
Subject matter expertise in owned media channels, including websites, in-app placements, push notifications, and email newsletters.
Experience negotiating share of voice and/or brand share agreements with internal teams and external partners.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment, including rapid iteration, quick decision-making and delivering impactful results in weeks – not months.
Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with proven experience working cross-functionally to deliver brand messaging to customers.
Comfortable story-telling and presenting, with the ability to articulate channel vision to senior leaders.
Preferred Qualifications:
An understanding of fan engagement trends across streaming and digital platforms
MS/MBA in Marketing, Brand, or related field
