SHORT DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Director of Marketing to lead and grow the marketing department at Coughlin's Auctions, enhancing brand visibility and driving customer engagement while supporting the company's national expansion goals.

We are currently hiring for a Director of Marketing for Coughlin's Auctions, and looking for someone to help run all aspects of Marketing department. We have been in the auction business for 6 years, and currently have 2 locations (Clinton Twp and Rochester Hills), with goals to expand all over the country within the next few years. We are currently licensed to sell franchises with plans to develop franchised locations and corporately owned locations in 2025. We are a "start up" and looking for a Director of Marketing to help make Coughlin's Auctions a household name across the country. This position/department will grow, as will the salary and benefits grow, as the business grows. If you love trying new things, and taking chances to do unique marketing techniques reach out to us.

Qualities for a great Director of Marketing:

- Make decisions with little to no oversight

- Sees and believes the vision that Coughlin's Auctions has the potential to be the biggest auction company in America and will run with us to the finish line

- Lead others, help manage the day to day auction operations

- Someone who is willing to do other tasks outside their position, and help their colleagues

- Someone who is very self-motivated

- Someone who isn’t afraid of failing, and sees that failure as a stepping stone to the next successful idea.

- Someone who has great ideas, and can execute those ideas.

- Someone who can build a Marketing Department, hire VA’s (Virtual Assistants), ect.

- Someone who can find new ways to get bidders and consignors

- Someone who can create and execute a vison for your department, business, ect.

- Think of ideas outside their own department. See something we can change, let’s do it.

- Someone who can grow business revenue by attracting more consignors.

- Someone who can handle well under pressure

- Someone to help at the C-Suite level: Interviewing candidates, general management, ect.

- Someone who views themselves as a company executive, and is comfortable leading others.

Qualifications:

- Must be proficient in all aspects of Google PPC campaigns

- Must be proficient in all aspects Facebook and Instagram advertising

- Must be able to create graphics for advertising purposes

We offer paid vacations and PTO days

Pay is around $20-$28 per hour depending upon experience. This position will also have bonuses opportunities based upon performance.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance brand visibility and drive customer engagement.
  • Oversee SEO and content marketing initiatives to improve organic search rankings.
  • Manage social media marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Analyze performance metrics and optimize marketing automation processes to maximize ROI.
  • Lead and mentor the team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week

Benefits:

  • Weekends as needed
