QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Business/Communications or related field preferred, minimum of two years' experience in the retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry preferred, strong sales and customer service skills, and compassion for working with the elderly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure effective sales and marketing processes, deliver informative presentations to prospective residents, communicate with healthcare providers, maintain necessary reports, assist in the admission process of prospective residents, and promote company services internally and externally.

SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Director of Marketing will oversee sales and marketing strategies for an assisted living facility, focusing on building relationships with potential residents and healthcare providers while ensuring high levels of customer service.
Under the general supervision of the Administrator, the Director of Marketing is responsible for ensuring that our sales and marketing process is effective. The ideal candidate should have a passion for working with seniors, a high degree of customer service and marketing and sales experience. As an Assisted Living Marketing Representative, you will maintain contact with hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, senior citizen centers and other sources of potential new residents. You will be available to consult with caregivers and case managers and coordinate with prospective residents and their families to address any needs or questions about our services.
Education, Training, and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business/Communications or related field preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in retirement, nursing home, or assisted living industry preferred
- Must have compassion for and desire to work with the elderly
- Sales - inside and outside - experience preferred
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Strong commitment to importance of proactive sales and marketing as it relates to community occupancy
- Strong customer service track record with measurable results
- Strong computer, analytical, communication and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently; be self-motivated and goal-directed
- Must be honest, fair, dependable, respect confidentiality and the rights and privacy of others
- Must practice and promote Brooklyn Boulevard ALP Policies and Procedures, Mission Statement, Core Values and Founding Principles Delivering informative presentations on the company’s service offerings to prospective residents and their families
- Effectively communicating and collaborating with healthcare providers, branch staff, field sales personnel and prospective residents
- Maintaining all necessary reports and documentation in an accurate fashion and submitting them on a timely basis
- Acting as a liaison between the company and healthcare providers to provide education about our assisted living services
- Promoting the company internally and externally while assisting in the development of strategic planning initiatives
- Assisting residence staff in the timely procuring and processing of all pertinent information to assist in the acceptance and admission of prospective residents
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
