The Marketing, Communications, Travel, and Event Coordinator will enhance the visibility and engagement of The Academy Volleyball Club and its brands through effective marketing strategies, event planning, and travel coordination.
Job Summary:
The Marketing, Communications, Travel, and Event Coordinator will play a pivotal role in promoting The Academy Volleyball Club and its affiliated brands. This position involves marketing strategy execution, managing event logistics, coordinating team and coach travel, and overseeing website management. The coordinator will support four brands: The Academy Indianapolis, Boys, Boiler Juniors, and Monon Select. With assistance from a senior marketing director and graphic design team, the coordinator will ensure seamless operation of marketing campaigns, events, and travel plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing & Communications:
Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive engagement and brand visibility for The Academy Indianapolis, Boys, Boiler Juniors, and Monon Select.
Oversee digital marketing, including social media management, email campaigns, and website content updates.
Collaborate with the senior marketing director and graphic design team to create promotional materials, newsletters, and other marketing collateral.
Track and report on marketing campaign performance, making data-driven decisions to optimize engagement.
Travel Coordination:
Oversee all travel logistics coaches, including booking transportation for tournaments and events.
Arrange travel logistics for club teams by setting up room blocks.
Ensure smooth coordination of travel plans and communication to coaches.
Manage travel budgets and work with local hotels to set up rooming blocks.
Provide support for any travel-related issues, ensuring a seamless experience for club coaches and teams.
Event Coordination:
Plan and manage key club events, including the Senior Celebration, Academy Golf Outing, End of Year Awards, and Coaches Convention.
Coordinate all event logistics, such as venue booking, scheduling, staffing, and equipment setup.
Promote events through various channels and handle event communications with participants, sponsors, and partners.
Provide on-site event support to ensure smooth execution and a positive participant experience.
Website Management:
Maintain and update the websites for all brands, ensuring they reflect accurate, engaging, and timely content.
Ensure the websites align with marketing strategies and are optimized for user engagement.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Planning, or a related field.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Experience with website management (content management systems, such as WordPress).
Proficiency in social media management, email marketing tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of the club volleyball or sports industry is a plus.
Familiarity with event management platforms and tools.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel, as needed.
Support & Teamwork:
Collaborate with the senior marketing director and a graphic design team to implement and support marketing strategies across all brands.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
