SHORT DESCRIPTION
The Director of Marketing will lead the development of brand communication plans, manage marketing activities to drive brand desirability and sales growth, and ensure a cohesive brand narrative across all consumer touchpoints.
The Director of Marketing is accountable for bringing our brands stories to the consumer. This leader develops brand communication plans, synthesizing product priorities, channel plans and brand strategy into calendars and campaigns that align cross functional teams and deliver brand desirability & sales growth. They create game changing content & experiences across key touchpoints. This role is responsible for driving Marketing Comm Strategy, Earned Media, Paid Media, Influencer/Creator, and Owned Social Strategy. This role ensures our cohesive brand narrative is told consistently across everything we do, including oversight of global marketing activities to ensure regional and local market adaptations are consistent with Gregory’s global brand strategy.
· Creates strategic communication planning for North America marketing to ensure market needs are met, measured, and optimized across Paid Media, Influencers & Owned Social
- Manages all aspects of Marketing budget including content and campaign creation (with support of Marketing Brand Manager), Digital Brand Activation budget (Paid Media & Influencers); Strategically reviews budget monthly and manages detailed budget tracking/forecasting.
- Manages all agency partners with clear, consumer-led objectives and KPIs that are that are aligned to our comms strategy, brand, and business priorities
- Develops Paid Media, Influencer & Owned Social Activations for Brand & Key Products, to cultivate deeper engagement with the brand and the consumer through to purchase; Partners with Performance Marketing Team to ensure plans are integrated at all touchpoints and drives consumer through an integrated experience.
- Oversees execution of Paid Media, Influencers & Owned Social Activations, including weekly optimizations; Manages Associate Brand Activation Coordinator responsible to help execute Influencer & Owned Social Activation Plans that are effectively planned, executed & recapped
- Analytics driven to set & review holistic measurement plans, uses data and insights to optimize future campaigns
- Builds internal partnerships and ensures cross-functional collaboration and alignment with internal channel teams, including Europe and Asia Marketing leads
- Assists in the transformation of marketing campaigns towards digital-first and modern marketing approaches, unlocking ever-smarter, more targeted, and impactful / marketing solutions
- Presents Brand Activation Marketing plans to key stakeholders including senior management, channel teams, and sales organization
- Fosters & sustains relationships with influencer talent resulting in an authentic and lasting relationship with the brand
Ensure brand position integrity is upheld and supported across all communications, including oversight of Europe and Asia activities to ensure regional and local market adaptations are consistent with Gregory’s global brand strategy
