WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Director of Paid Social to lead our paid social media team. This role requires a deep understanding of the social media landscape, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record in driving ROI through innovative paid social strategies. The ideal candidate will be passionate about leveraging social platforms to enhance brand visibility, engagement, and sales.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Design and implement comprehensive paid social strategies tailored to our clients goals, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 8-15+ paid social specialists, providing guidance on best practices, campaign execution, and professional development, while fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and innovation
- Oversee a book of 80-150 clients via your direct reports
- Step in for high-stakes or difficult client situations, effectively managing expectations, addressing concerns, and providing strategic solutions
- Supervise the planning, execution, and optimization of paid social campaigns, ensuring alignment with client goals and industry standards
- Assist the team in troubleshooting complex issues and implementing best practices.
- Guide the team in utilizing analytics tools to track campaign performance, encouraging a culture of data-driven decision-making.
- Review campaign reports and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with the team to allocate and manage campaign budgets effectively, ensuring resources are utilized optimally to achieve desired ROI
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including creative, analytics, and account management, to ensure cohesive and impactful campaigns
- Stay updated on industry trends, platform updates, and competitive landscape to inform strategy and maintain a competitive edge
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and presenting strategic recommendations based on performance data and industry insights
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE
- 6+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a strong focus on paid social media, preferably within an agency setting
- Proven track record of managing successful paid social campaigns for e-commerce brands, demonstrating measurable results.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with social media analytics tools (e.g., Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a knack for storytelling through data.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
