About the role

As the People Operations Lead at Pixly, you’ll play a key role in aligning HR and operational strategies with the company’s mission and growth. This role requires a proven leader with experience in HR or People Operations and strong organizational and communication skills. You’ll lead initiatives across talent acquisition, employee development, enhancing workplace culture, and resource forecasting. Collaborating with leadership and client teams, you’ll support business development efforts, manage HR compliance, and oversee payroll, benefits, and IT basics. Experience in a creative or digital agency environment is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Strategy

  • Partner with the leadership team to define and implement People Operations strategies that align with business goals.
  • Lead career management, annual goal setting, and employee development initiatives.
  • Create and maintain operational process documentation, handbooks, and FAQs.

Talent Acquisition & Management

  • Oversee hiring processes, including resume reviews, first interviews, and onboarding/offboarding.
  • Develop and manage performance reviews, 360 feedback, and evolving development plans.
  • Support utilization management, including staffing and resource forecasting.

Employee Experience & Culture

  • Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and overall workplace culture.
  • Plan and execute team events, communications, and meetings to strengthen agency culture.

Client Teams & Business Development Support

  • Collaborate with Pixly and ACC business development teams on new client onboarding, RFP responses, and campaign monitoring.
  • Facilitate consolidated business and new business tracking and reporting.
  • Creating and deploying processes, scopes of work, and project management documents and systems.

HR Operations

  • Manage payroll, benefits (medical, dental, 401k, etc.), and timekeeping systems.
  • Streamline onboarding and offboarding procedures, including benefit enrollment, technology setup, and compliance.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and risk management requirements.

Training & Development

  • Develop and implement training programs focused on employee growth and client management skills.
  • Build process documents and train team members on software usage, compliance, and client services.

Internal Operations & IT

  • Manage IT basics, subscriptions, AV, and Help Desk QC.
  • Establish standard operating procedures for communications, including email, chat, and calls.
Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in leading agency teams, ideally in HR, People Operations, or a related field, in a digital or creative agency or environment.
  • Knowledge of payroll, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, create systems, and develop new functions.
  • Experience with IT basics, project management, and campaign processes is a plus.
