QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience in Health Care, proven sales executive experience, and 3+ years in a managerial role. Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage SSS Sales activities, oversee a team of approximately 10 staff, develop relationships with key decision-makers, coordinate customer relations, expand buying groups, and report sales activities to the President/CEO. Additional duties as assigned.

Work Schedule: Mon - Fri, 7:30am to 4:00pm
Manage and direct all Shared Service Systems sales activities for product sales to acute and non-acute facilities to include hospitals, nursing homes, and clinics. Work cohesively with all departments to help coordinate all external sales functions. Market Shared Service Systems to external accounts. Manage and market Physician Choice Buying Program. Work with all GPO’s in providing distribution services for GPO members.
- To oversee the supervision and evaluation of the Sales Staff Team consisting of about 10 staff.
- Territory design for maximum sales growth and cost effectiveness.
- Territory volume growth targets and account profitability analytics.
- Sales representative product knowledge attitude, professional growth, sales meetings and sales training program.
- High school diploma or General Education Development (G.E.D.) required
- Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience in Health Care or related field required
- Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets required
- 3+ years previous experience as a sales manager or sales and marketing director required
- Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions required
License/Certifications
- Valid and current driver's license required
- Proof of Insurance required
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
- Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals from plan to close
- Proficient in articulating the distinct aspects of products and services
- Provide comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from new and/or existing accounts
- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel), with the ability to learn new applications
- Proficiency in the use of B2B, Prophet 21 and E-commerce platforms
- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication
- Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competent in organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Must be able to direct, organize, and evaluate performance of others
- Ability to be a team player and work cohesively with all departmental Directors and Managers
- Customer Service Driver and ability to build and maintain customer satisfaction
- Must be able to travel three – six nights per month required.
