Job Summary:
The Director of Sales and Marketing will play a key leadership role in driving the growth and success of our company by developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies. This position is responsible for overseeing the sales and marketing teams, enhancing brand presence, acquiring new clients, and driving revenue growth. Strong background in sales leadership, marketing strategy, and customer relationship management within the service industry. Results-oriented, able to build and lead high-performing teams, and capable of executing data-driven campaigns that increase brand awareness and customer acquisition. This position reports directly to senior leadership and is crucial to achieving the company’s business objectives.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth, expand market share, and achieve company revenue goals.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales and marketing teams, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, prospects, and industry influencers. Enhance customer satisfaction and retention through tailored marketing campaigns and personalized service offerings.
- Oversee the creation and execution of innovative marketing campaigns across multiple channels (digital, social media, print, etc.) to increase visibility, engagement, and leads.
- Develop and execute strategies to build and enhance the company’s brand presence in the market, ensuring consistent messaging and positioning.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and new business opportunities.
- Monitor and track sales performance, customer acquisition, and marketing ROI. Provide regular reports to senior leadership on performance metrics, campaign results, and market insights.
- Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
- Work closely with operations, and other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and alignment between marketing efforts and company goals.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development for the sales and marketing teams to ensure they are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales and marketing professionals, driving performance and achieving company goals.
- Expertise in developing and executing long-term sales and marketing strategies that align with business objectives and market trends.
- Skilled at building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Proficiency in digital marketing (SEO/SEM, social media, email campaigns, etc.), branding, and content marketing to drive engagement and lead generation.
- Strong analytical skills to assess market trends, campaign performance, and customer data to optimize sales and marketing strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and persuasively to both internal teams and external clients.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and resources are allocated efficiently.
- Proven ability to close deals, negotiate contracts, and persuade potential clients through effective communication and value propositions.
- Experience managing and optimizing sales and marketing budgets to ensure effective use of resources.
- Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs, demonstrating resilience and a proactive approach to challenges.
- A strong understanding of the moving industry or similar service-based sectors is a plus, including knowledge of customer needs, competition, and market trends.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in sales and marketing leadership roles, preferably within the moving, logistics, or related service industry.
- Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies and marketing campaigns.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Expertise in digital marketing tools, CRM systems, SEO/SEM, social media platforms, and email marketing.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of the moving industry and its challenges is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.
- Must be able to navigate various departments of the organization’s physical premises.
