The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives and partnerships, focusing on memberships, training programs, and facility rentals at the Newtown Sports Training Center and Newtown Performance Institute.

Position Overview:

The Director of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives
and partnerships for the Newtown Sports Training Center and Newtown Performance Institute.
This role involves selling memberships, programs, private training, rentals, and events, with a
focus on maximizing enrollment and utilization across all programs. The ideal candidate is a
dynamic, results-driven professional with experience in sales, sports programming, and client
relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve enrollment and revenue goals for: Newtown Performance Institute: MMA memberships, private training, youth and adult performance programs. Newtown Sports Training Center: Baseball lessons and clinics, soccer programming, birthday parties, and facility rentals/events.
  • Conduct client consultations, athlete evaluations, and sales meetings to convert inquiries into memberships, private sessions, or program enrollments.
  • Foster relationships with local teams, leagues, and organizations to drive group sales, partnerships, and sponsorships.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build strong rapport with clients, families, and community members to ensure long-term retention and satisfaction.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for program inquiries, facility tours, and sales follow-ups.
  • Work collaboratively with the Performance Institute's Assistant Director and coaching staff to align sales efforts with programming and client needs.

Marketing & Outreach

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional campaigns, social media content, and email outreach that drive leads and sales.
  • Represent the facilities at community events, expos, and other outreach opportunities togrow awareness and build a pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, optimize marketing strategies, and report on performance metrics.

Facility Utilization

  • Actively promote rental space availability for events, clinics, and team practices at the Newtown Sports Training Center.
  • Coordinate with operations staff to ensure the efficient scheduling and use of facilities to maximize revenue opportunities.
