Director of Learning, Training and Development Integration
Framingham
Wayside Youth and Family- Equity Training Center has a distinguished track record of achieving impactful and inclusive practices along with ensuring compliance within our organization. The Director of Learning, Training and Development integration is a critical part of the leadership of Wayside Youth and Family’s Equity and Training Team. The Director will report to and work closely with the Vice President of Government Relations and Chief Diversity Officer to implement meaningful, compliant, and sustainable organizational changes, along with working in partnership with staff across the organization.
The Director will have experience and proven success in leading and working cross-collaboratively with development of structures to ensure compliance, assessment of training needs, coordination and hiring of external speakers for workshops, outreach, development of training curriculum as needed, problem-solving and project management tasks. Will work to ensure continuous improvements related to the ongoing training material for the organization.
The Director serves as the programmatic and operational leader for the internal trainings and development programs. They will work closely with our Department of People and Culture around Compliance requirements as well as Agency leadership to ensure training needs of the different service models are being met. The Director will serve as a partner and a resource for our training organizations in creating and implementing adaptive and relevant learning opportunities.
This position has the opportunity to be hybrid.
Salary Range: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00/year + sign-on bonus (half paid after 30 days of employment and the other half paid after 90 days of employment/pro-rated for part-time).

What You Will Do:
  • Lead the scoping, development and implementation of the organization’s short-term and long-term training program(s) in consultation with the VP of Government Relations and Chief Diversity Officer as well as other Agency leadership.
  • Collaborate with Agency program leaders to: identify and inform on specific training needs as well as compliance requirements per licensing bodies such as EEC, etc.
  • Create an interactive and coherent vision and strategy for internal trainings and development at WETC that takes into account the needs of different programs, roles, teams and groups of staff, as well as the strategic direction of the Wayside Organization.
  • Establish a series of education workshops, seminar series, speaker series, and forums in support of the organization’s compliance requirements, growth needs and development.
  • Continually assess the regulatory environment to address the changing needs and the effectiveness of the training offerings, including development and execution of appropriate internal control metrics.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance and implementation assistance on training and mental health policies, as well as state and federal laws and regulations governing mental health, youth and care to address the needs of the Wayside’s rapidly changing environment.
  • Conduct ongoing reviews of Wayside’s annual online training program (Relias) and ensure that all material is current and reflects best practices.
  • Provide ongoing review and analysis of current processes and procedures to identify gaps and inefficiencies.
  • Collaborate closely with interagency departments such as Marketing and Communications, on all aspects of projects, including planning, content, layout and publication of marketing materials, turnaround time, etc.

Minimum Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree is required, a Master's degree is preferred.
  • Substantial experience in trainings development and delivery.
