QUALIFICATIONS
3-7 years of experience in business development or partnership roles, strong background in commercial/industrial real estate brokerage, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proven sales performance, strong organizational skills, understanding of commercial real estate market and rooftop solar.

Develop and nurture relationships with CRE brokers, manage the sales development cycle, recruit and onboard high-potential brokers, expand solar opportunities, evaluate partner performance, support promotional events, collaborate with internal teams, and gather feedback from partners.

The Director of Partnerships will drive the expansion of the company’s reach through the CRE Broker referral network, building partnerships and transforming referrals into business opportunities while collaborating with various internal teams.

The Director of Partnerships will be a critical strategic driver for expanding our company's reach through our CRE Broker referral partner network. This pivotal role requires a sales-driven professional with deep expertise in industrial real estate who can cultivate, manage, and optimize relationships with CRE brokers and their clients. The role will serve as the primary point of contact for partners, transforming initial referrals into closed business opportunities. The ideal candidate is results-oriented, has strong relationship-building skills, is a clear communicator, and has a comprehensive understanding of the commercial real estate and solar energy industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and nurture relationships with CRE brokers, acting as the primary point of contact for our referral partnerships.
- Take ownership of the pipeline of referred leads, managing the relationship through the sales development cycle (from proposal through close).
- Actively identify, recruit, and onboard high-potential CRE brokers from the commercial & industrial real estate sector.
- Expand the pipeline of solar opportunities with CRE broker referral partners through prospecting, direct outreach, networking, and other means.
- Evaluate the performance of CRE broker partners against key metrics (e.g., leads generated, conversion rates, revenue).
- Support partners in organizing events, webinars, or campaigns that promote our offerings.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless partner experience and opportunity conversion.
- Act as a liaison between referral partners and internal teams, gathering and relaying feedback.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-7 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles, with a strong background in commercial / industrial real estate brokerage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strategic relationships.
- Exceptional negotiation and closing skills.
- Proven track record of sales or partnership performance is required.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaborative outcomes.
- Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of commercial / industrial real estate market and trends.
- Understanding of rooftop solar.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and partnership management tools.
- 10-30% travel required.
- Flexible on home location (quarterly travel to Asbury Park HQ required).
